Kassel, Germany-native and multi-pronged musical talent, TRAILS possesses a boundless creative fortitude that works inexplicably in a variety of audible formats. While his objective has tapered slightly toward the alternative realms of indie-rock, TRAILS first distinguished his talents as a musician by dabbling in the waters of electronic production, which left an untapped reservoir of nostalgic gems.
Selected from one of his earliest releases, ‘A Flume Tribute’ establishes an ingenious middle ground between mashup and remix, in which TRAILS dissects the melodies and overarching components from an assortment of Flume’s most coveted releases, repurposing them in his own arrangement, sprinkling in more than a few pinches of his own creative flair for good measure.
