Over the past few years, it’s been an absolute joy watching the growth of this organic future beat/trap scene. The scene is a true testament to audiophiles everywhere, with no regard to genre these artists have found a niche within electronic music where truly all styles are accepted. One of the names to rise to the top of this scene is the anonymous Camoufly, who has quickly become a FUX favorite, recently dropping off an insane guest mix. Camoufly’s style can best be described as free-flowing and genre-defying, with rhythms, melodies, and drums that take inspiration for all corners of electronic music and hip-hop. Now the mysterious entity returns with his flip of ROSALÍA’s ‘A Palé.’
We begin with the angelic tone of the Catalan-born singer ROSALÍA, but this time processed in a slightly different way with added distortion. The murky intro gives way suddenly to a pounding four-on-the-floor rhythm accompanied by these insane percussion elements that carry the groove throughout. More elements are oddly progressive, and what you’re left with at the end is a certified club anthem. Check out the whole thing down below and grab your free download!
