Gl0bal & So Sus Unleash ‘Snake’

by Zach Bayha

Gl0bal and So Sus is a collab that makes so much sense we’re beating ourselves up for not seeing it sooner. Both are Candian, both are producing trap, and the fusion of these two on one track immediately screams, “Damn son, where’d you find this?” Luckily, Circus Records is kind enough to bring us the Gl0bal and So Sus collab we didn’t know we needed, titled ‘Snake.’

‘Snake’ begins with very intriguing chords that wane between uplifting and brooding vibes that are really amplified at the build, as Gl0bal and So Sus give the first drop a hard trap vibe with large, sliding leads and distorted basses carried by thick trap drums. The amount of energy Gl0bal and So Sus generate is absolutely staggering, and the way they keep managing to play between dark and light moods is really amazing and my favorite thing about ‘Snake’. The perfect example is the distorted vocals in the second drop, as they give a large emotional element to the track, but Gl0bal and So Sus don’t give you time to process those emotions as the track keeps giving you more and more. Gl0bal and So Sus have truly created a track that sneaks up on you and takes you by surprise with this one.
