San Pacho’s The Mandela EP Is Primed For Dance Floors

by Colin

Croatian DJ & Producer San Pacho is back with a bangin’ three-track EP on Matroda’s Terminal Underground label. The Mandela EP showcases the different facets of San Pacho’s sound while weaving in a cohesive house vibe throughout. ‘The Pressure’ kicks things off and drops you straight into the heart of the rave. The temperature is rising, bodies are gyrating and the strobes are hitting just right. The bass pounds and the vocals are hypnotic; you won’t be able to stop moving. Switching the style up comes ‘Set Me Free.’ A distant vocal drifts in and out as San Pacho mixes grit and groove for an enjoyable flavour. ‘Spicy Mama’ goes tech house for a tune that’s primed for pool parties and club sets alike. It’ll have you rolling and shuffling throughout the three-minute run time.

The Mandela EP is a sampler of quality house and shows why San Pacho is on track to dominate dance floors.

When I was creating this EP, I really wanted to implement some of the inspirations from my daily life into it. I named it Mandala EP because I got a mandala inspired tattoo when I was first starting to take music seriously and it gave me the drive to keep on grinding and making a name for myself. Each track in the EP represents some of my musical styles, ‘The Pressure’ is a bit of a darker tune with a bumping bassline and advanced sound design. Set Me Free’ dives into the classical house side of me but still contains the same elements that make it a San Pacho track. The closer ‘Spicy Mama’ is a fun tech house tune with trippy topliners over a catchy disco vocal, I really had fun doing it because the vocal just sits so well in the track and the synths are all just my usual BS :)” – San Pacho
