Shöckface and mark veins are breathing new life into the Still Haze assisted collaboration ‘Poison’ with a remix EP. The 3-track pack sees unique flips from Rausch, Colson XL, and Hubstcy.
Rausch opens things up with a reimagination that’s emotive and nasty. The first half is slow-burning, allowing Still Haze’s vocals to drive things. The switch-up in the drop completely changes the scene with a bass-heavy swerve that hits with maximum impact. Drifting between future bass and experimental trap comes Hubstcy gritty yet evocative take. Sound design is at the epicenter of this wild ride. Closing out the project comes familiar duo Colson XL. Sprinkling their signature sound into ‘Poision’ comes a remix that’s moving with hints of optimism. The colder emotions are still present but there’s a sense of hope that gives the track a new sense of meaning.
