Zomboy Returns To Never Say Die With Quintessential ‘Valley Of Violence’

by Steph Contant

It feels like it has been forever since we’ve gotten a solo release from Zomboy, and rightly so. Before his collaboration with NGHTMRE titled ‘Shellshock‘ dating back to late October, the legend of modern dubstep had been on a hiatus of almost two years, surely working in the depths of his dungeon conjuring up the mightiest of tracks. Nonetheless, the British producer has risen from the ashes once more to deliver the final Never Say Die release of 2021, ‘Valley Of Violence.’

Simply said, ‘Valley Of Violence’ is quintessential Zomboy, hitting fans in all the right place and scratching that itch that has been nagging for the duration of his absence. With hints at older releases that true fans are sure to catch peppered throughout the track, the artist laced his latest release with Easter eggs from the past while showcasing a continuous evolution in his gut-wrenching sound. The introduction kicks things off in high gear, with an unnerving soundscape quickly building into an orchestral, mainstage-ready section. Then, all hell breaks loose, as Zomboy demonstrates why he is considered one of the best with a foundation-shattering barrage of dubstep brutality. Doing what he does best, Zomboy concocts a frenzy-inducing drop that will snap the neck of any unsuspecting bystander. ‘Valley Of Violence’ only gets more intense as it progresses, so strap in for a wild ride.

We have also been assured that this marks a musical comeback for Zomboy that is going to carry over into 2022. Until then, dive into ‘Valley Of Violence’ below.
