Following collaborations with Jargen and Matroda, Bleu Clair is back with another one, this time connecting with Ootoro for ‘Killer Bee (ft. Chyra).’ Primed for the clubs, this house heater is set to ignite dance floors. Chryra’s vocals are seductive and catchy providing a slightly poppy feel. The first half of the track is pure grooves with the vocals drifting over smooth drums and basslines. The midway point is where the artists really up the ante letting the beat take centre stage with a gritty warehouse feel. The increase in energy turns the track into a full-fledged stomper that’s assured to have fans shuffling about. Blending club-ready sound with a wider appeal makes ‘Killer Bee’ primed for any occasion.
Ken (OOTORO) and I (Bleu Clair) go back a few years. I remember when I discovered his music just when I started releasing out my work. ‘Killer Bee’ shows the perfect blend of our visions on creating house music and Chyra’s vocals are perfect to fill in the track and give it wide perspective. I played this a couple times of on my summer tour and there were some people asking when will we drop this one. So I am excited to finally release this tune. – Bleu Clair
