It is happening. As most have probably seen on his Twitter, the rebirth of Skrillex is underway. And while most were expecting his album(s) to come out sometime throughout 2023, the legend is wasting no time. Starting the campaign off with a bang, Skrillex, Fred again.. and Flowdan have decided to release their highly-anticipated ‘Rumble’ for the world to enjoy in its entirety (and in high quality).
‘Rumble’ was actually our unofficial Top Song of 2022, largely due to its inescapable nature. Thankfully, the anticipation did not have to grow to unbearable levels, as January 4th marks the day of its arrival, and boy does it not disappoint. Despite it not being too much more than all the teasers and clips that exist (i.e. no surprise second/third drops), the track is still incredible. The production is meticulously clean, the bass reverberates through the core of one’s soul, and the flow induces goosebumps to no end. ‘Rumble’ is the definition of executing a relatively simple idea to perfection – and perfection should always include a bit of Jersey club for good measure.
