After blessing listeners with ‘On Blast’ and announcing his upcoming EP Ethos, the talented producer is back with a second sampling of what’s to come. ‘LUNA’ is an evocative dream-like anthem that blurs the boundaries between beauty and banging. Heartfelt exotic vocals drift over haunting harmonies and sweeping soundscapes. The impassioned introduction offers an immersive pull before exploding into a heavy-hitting drop that’s characterized by blistering bass, rumbling percussions, and breathy samples. Somber chords drift over ghostly vocal tones for a melancholy break before capshun ups the intensity once more. Finding a captivating contrast of raw emotion and pounding punches, ‘LUNA’ deepens capshun’s discography while continuing to build excitement for his impending body of work.
LUNA is one of my favorite songs from ‘Ethos.’ I really took a different direction with this song. From the textures, to the songwriting and the emotion it’s a new energy from me. The feeling that I get from LUNA is a complete standout from the other tracks on the EP. LUNA is also the intro to the EP and I feel like it really sets the tone for what’s to come from the rest of the project. You’ll never know what to expect. I truly hope everyone enjoys this song and the rest of Ethos. – capshun
