112 and we’re not talking about the R&B group from the 90’s. With another Friday here, we’re serving up 16 tracks that will take you on a trip. You’ll get turnt up with the Falcons and Ekali joint and mellow out to Badnew’s ‘Gunshot’. In case you missed it, we start the playlist with Abel’s remix to Byrson Tiller ‘Rambo’…

With Far From Familiar only a week away, Sylvan LaCue drops another single to get fans primed for the release. ‘Back To The City’ sees Sylvan taking a trip back to his hometown Miami. With production from West Palm Beach’s own Wishlade and Linzi Jai this is truly a Florida affair. The track sees Sylvan expanding his vocal range as…

Back in 2014, up-and-coming producer Branchez put a perfect spin on Wet’s ‘Don’t Want To Be Your Girl’. The entrancing vocals and upbeat club vibe created pure magic. Fast forward to 2016 and Branchez is back with another fresh flip for Wet; this time taking on ‘All The Ways’. The rework adds a much appreciated knock while still maintaining the…

Last year UZ announced the retirement of his legendary Trap Shit series. While it signified the end of an era, it also opened the door for a new one. He followed up the announcement with the release of Frontier, an EP which showcased the mysterious producer’s signature sound while expanding the range and direction of his music. It looks like he decided it…

After touring with The Weeknd, Bryson Tiller saw a massive increase in his reach and audience. The real credit though, goes to his music. The Kentucky trap/soul artist dropped one of the best projects of 2015 and so it’s no wonder that one of the biggest artists in the game in would want to remix his ‘Rambo’ joint. The Weeknd, known…

Falcons & Ekali on a track is assured to create some serious hype. Warranted hype. As proved by their latest release ‘I Won’t Lie’. Connecting with Vanessa Elisha, the trio craft a track that is equal parts stunning and gritty. It’s a blend of beautiful and alluring soundscapes with dark undertones and touching melodies. It’s the type of track you…

Drake’s Views from the 6 is imminent as he hinted the album is dropping some time in April (my guess – April 16th…4/16 – I’ll let you figure it out). Yesterday, two tracks hit the net and the Internet went crazy as per usual. Both tracks featured the Toronto rapper and both featured different but not completely unexpected sounds. The dancehall track and…

Fresch off the release of The Pharmacy Vol. 001 the Dr. is back. Connecting with Baby Eazy-E, Eazy-E’s son, the two create a major G-House anthem that draws inspiration from the NWA classic with a new twist. Keeping the tempo at 105, Fresch crafts a slowed up house vibe that’s G’d up, bouncy and gritty as a 64′ with the…

Earlier this week Lido asked fans where he should upload something that was guaranteed to be taken down. It looks like today he decided on a location, the newly created lifeofpeder.com. The work he was referring to is an epic 8 minute re-imagination of Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo. Aptly titled ‘The Life of Peder’ (Peder is his real…

Back in 2014, Promnite, Hoodboi, Falcons and Kittens linked up to form a supergroup group known as Athletixx. Although the All-Stars Mixtape built some serious hype, they’ve remained relatively quiet on the group front (they’ve been killing it on the solo tip). The lack of material has left fans salivating to hear some original tunes from the group. Finally the wait…
