Hoodboi is easily one of my favorite producers putting out Jersey Club. With killer remixes of ‘Jealous’, ‘Sucka’, ‘Honest’ and a ton more, whenever he drops a track we get excited. Earlier this month he previewed his rework of Chris Brown’s ‘Loyal’ in the Athletixx – All-Stars Mixtape Vol. 1. After some anticipation the producer has decided to put out the track as a free…

If you don’t wanna party then you should go home! To celebrate the announcement of their collaborative tour, DJ Sliink, TWRK and DJ Green Lantern dropped a new joint appropriately named “Trifecta”. The track is an ambitious mix of jersey club, twerk and trap – but it delivers. Below we’ve shared the track (grab the free download here) and up top are the…

There are few feelings better than stumbling across an artist that instantly amazes you. It’s a rare occurrence, but when it happens it’s strikingly memorable. When I came across Oddisee’s Odd Renditions early last year I thought, “who is this guy and why have I never heard of him?” I pride myself in being in the know when it comes to…

Days Before Rodeo. Treating the fans, G.O.O.D. Music’s Travis Scott dropped a 12 track LP for free. First play through, the production is pretty nasty and the overall sound is very much in line with what we’ve heard before from Scott (dark, bass heavy). The LP includes a few guests as well – you can catch Big Sean, Rich Homie…

Though Goon Bags are most well known for their Trap/Twerk tunes I actually became a fan off their Future Bass release ‘Always Here For You’ remix. It’s been a little while since they’ve dabbled in the genre, but I am happy to say that they’re back. Their latest release ‘Freedom’ combines thick basslines with layers of synths and punctuated percussion.…

About a month or two ago we posted a fresh track called ‘Root Of All Evil’ by GC. The laid-back 90’s feel, buttery smooth flow and quality lyrics are exactly the type of music we like to hear. Well, the Houston rapper is back with a fluid new track produced by Luke White. Entitled ‘Her’ the song has GC spitting bars about a certain…

Seattle based producer Swish recently reworked Vice Mensa’s – ‘Feel That’ and it’s awesome! The remix starts out with a trap feel as Vic drops bars. As it builds you might expect to get hit with a gritty trap drop but you’ll be in for a surprise. Instead Swish mixes things up with a wild wonky space jazz drop that sees the…

Happy Friday! The weekend is finally here and that means it’s time for another installment of FUXWITHITFRIDAYS. This week’s edition is absolutely stacked! We kick things off heavy with Troyboi’s latest ‘4321’. In case you missed it, we had the honour of interviewing the producer earlier this week. We also got a new track from fellow SoundSnob icekream. Other standout tracks…

Our favourite young remixer Andrew Luce has just released his first original track entitled ‘Rain On Me’. The song is a collaboration with Koa and will be featured on edm.com’s upcoming Bass For Autism Vol. 2. The track combines emotive keys with glitchy synths and luscious bass hits. The vocals from Alan booth add to the emotional feel. It’s a different…

Dan Farber has become a staple in our FUXWITHIT Fridays segment. Every track he drops is a smash that is guaranteed to have you ready to party. When I saw that he decided to take on Jimi Hendrix classic ‘Purple Haze’ I was very interested. Reworking a track as big as this is no small feat but Farber shows that…
