bd hbt and Gurf have been on the cusp of forward thinking, underground experimental bass music for a minute now. With steady releases between the two of them, notably the collaborations they’ve had with artists like yojas and XTALS, they’ve been hard at work putting out incredible tracks. They’ve teamed up to remix Gurf’s fellow Partica Artists Group member, Runnit, and his track, ’36th Chamber’, bringing a dark twist to an already insane track.

Gurf and bd hbt immediately take the track in a different direction right off the bat, deciding to use sparse vocals and a more ominous vibe than the original. The track quickly builds until you are shot into another world of wonky bass with a heavily intoxicating swing. They bring the original rap vocals into the track and effortlessly finesse going into the second drop without slowing their relentless barrage of insane sound design. It’s no doubt bd hbt and Gurf have an absolutely jaw-dropping remix on their hands.
