]]> With the 4th of July holiday less than a day away, I thought it was only right that this week’s #tbt – Tracks You May Have Missed be none other than Kelis – ‘4th Of July’ (Calvin Harris Remix). Released back in the summer of 2010, this is a warm weather classic. Adding a fair bit of groove behind the vocals, the build features a funky and fun vibe closing out with a killer vocal bend before the drop. Calvin brings a lot more kick and energy to the remix while still carrying through the sound of the original.  Stream the track below and be sure to check out Rusko’s remix of the song if you’re looking for something a bit harder.
