Yogi Heats Things Up With AlunaGeorge & Less Is More on ‘Blow You Up’

OWSLA producer Yogi is back with a fresh sound. Well known for his gritty and hard-hitting tendencies (‘Burial,’ ‘Siri,’) Yogi takes a different approach on ‘Blow You Up.’ With assistance from AlunaGeorge and newcomers Less Is Moore, they craft an infectious warm weather anthem. Aluna’s vocals are as sweet as they are addictive and the production is dripping with sunshine. Rumors have been flying that Less Is More is a side project of Skrillex, but their Facebook page looks to have shut that down. Accompanying the release comes a stellar visual. Check both below.

ZHU x AlunaGeorge – Automatic

Earlier this week we featured the teaser video for the first release off ZHU’s Genesis series, the AlunaGeorge collaboration ‘Automatic’. Wasting little time the track got its world premiere on BBC Radio 1, and it’s now available for stream. It’s in line with what we would be expect from the two, a sultry, smooth and infectious deep groove. The vocal pairing of AlunaGeorge alongside ZHU’s falsettos and pitched down vocal tones is pure magic. The song takes an interesting turn towards the end with some sexy saxophone sounds. ZHU Previews Alunageorge Collaboration with New Video

Everyone’s favourite master of the mysterious, ZHU, is gearing up for something big. Earlier this week he teased fans with a new webpage listing the names of what look to be his upcoming collaborators (Skrillex, Alunageorge, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony & more) for his Genesis series. Baauer x AlunaGeorge x Rae Sremmurd – One Touch

Last week, Baauer dropped a remix for One Touch, a yet-to-be-release cut from his upcoming EP titled ‘ß.’ Well, it is yet-to-be-released no more. The album version contains two verses from Mississippi rap duo Rae Sremmurd as well as vocals by Aluna from AlunaGeorge. An unlikely team, perhaps, but with Baauer’s production and their contrasting vocal styles, ‘One Touch’ becomes a head swayin’ trap jam that is both nasty and sexy.
