]]> Ambush Buzzworl, or just Ambush, like many of the artists in our ‘Across The Pond’ Series, is part of the U.K. Rap scene and is an up and coming star in his own right. The ‘905’ (Area Code) Camden based rapper is part of the Buzzworl Music Crew which features such artists as Presi Pros (Ambush’s older DNA brother), Sp Montiz, Frank Ekwa and more. As many of the new era of U.K. Rap Artists are, this means Ambush is unsigned and releases under Buzzworl Ent which bodes well when one of your songs pops off across the entire country, much like it did for Ambush.

Back in 2018, Ambush dropped his track ‘Jumpy’ which shortly after receiving such a huge response, got a remix featuring none other than Skepta & Chip; two huge U.K. Grime names. As you can imagine, the airwaves were loving this new hit from a fairly unknown artist & it took Ambush’s career to new heights. The song only charted at 81 in The Official UK Singles Chart but it did get ranked the UK’s best song of 2018 by Complex.

Ambush has been present on the scene since 2012 but really stepped into the game in 2018 after ‘Jumpy’s release. Despite this, his prevalence today is already huge and below are just three must watch videos for Ambush.

Fire In The Booth Special

When Charlie Sloth moved to Beats 1 with his Fire In The Booth Series, one of the first shows was a special featuring four new U.K. Artists, including K-Trap, Blade Brown, Headie One and Ambush. It’s fair to say some artists stand out more than others in this special, Ambush being one of them.

Man Can’t

The follow up to ‘Jumpy’, this one hits a little different. This track is more upbeat than ‘Jumpy’ and more aggressive in nature, but still features that Ambush clean cut style throughout. Charting at number 85 on The Official UK Singles Chart without the need for a remix, ‘Man Can’t’ is a huge record.

Bring Em Out

Teaming up with Suspect, another Skepta collaborator, these two artists flow’s go seamlessly well on this track. Suspect has been established for some time, so to see Ambush there next to him as if he deserves to be, is both brilliant & right.

2019 is set to be a big year for the rising Camden rapper; with no mention of an album as of yet, Ambush is set to hit Wireless Festival in London later this year (which has seen the likes of Drake, J Cole, Post Malone) & we can surely expect to see more singles and collaborations on the way, which will no doubt only amplify Ambush’s success.
