Premiere: Ase Manual Brings the Picard Brothers to the Club

Jersey Club has moved from a regional sound to one of the hottest genres out and is now finding its place as a staple across North America. One of the genres brightest stars, Ase Manual, has been burning up our SoundCloud feed with stellar remixes (‘DNF’, ‘Commas’) and killer originals (‘Throw That Ha’, ‘Mata Hari’). Today, Ase Manual has blessed us with what may be his best track to date, a remix of the Picard Brothers ft. Erik Hassle ‘Goodbye & Good Luck’. The rework takes the upbeat break up anthem to Jersey. It retains the elements of the original that make it so sweet: gorgeous synths, the emotional vocals that are warm in tone but cold lyrically and of course the sugary sweet melodies. What Ase injects are the club elements we’ve come to love in retooled drums, hard kicks, heavy bass and some next level vocal chops. Ase Manual is one of the newest Jersey cats to catch our ear. His latest remixes ‘Fuck Up Some Commas’ and ‘DNF’ both impressed. Today, the brick city native returns with a new club rocker entitled ‘Throw That Ha’. The track fuses together groovy saxophone riffs, with some computery synths, hard kicks and echoed vocals. When I first heard this fresh DnF remix in Dreamcasts Guest Mix I was impressed. Instantly I wondered who’s remix it was and why I hadn’t heard it. The answer was simple; I hadn’t heard because it was an unreleased collab between Dreamcasts, CHLO, and Ase Manual. After some waiting, the official release is finally here. The rework turns up the sexy adding some spacey synths, club kicks and vocal chops that are on point. Subtle sounds such as the phone notification while Drake sings “hit me on the cell” showcase the attention detail and add to overall fun feel of the track. Stream below and grab the free download.
