Athletixx crew member Promnite has done some magic remixing Partynextdoor’s – ‘Recognize’. The track contains elements of Trap and Club while retaining just enough of the original to make it sound familiar and easy to sing along to. Being a fan of both the original and Promnite’s previous work, I absolutely love this. The energy is kicked up and every addition from the synths, to bass kicks and vocal chops make this one even more fun to bump. Stream below and grab the free download.

Athletixx – All-Stars Mixtape Vol. 1

A short time ago Promnite, Falcons, Hoodboi, and Kittens announced they would form a crew known as Athletixx. The details were slim but the anticipation was heavy. With little warning Athletixx put out their first release, a 32 minute mixtape filled with exclusives and unreleased music from each of the artists. Entitled ‘All-Stars Mixtape Vol. 1’ this is a must listen for any fan of the artists. The tape features Jersey Club, Future R&B, Bass music and even some Dance Hall riddims.
