Belly is no stranger to the game.

He’s been in the game for 15 plus years and in the last 5 he’s really started to make a mark on an international level. Today he dropped Mumble Rap which is an eleven track mixtape/album. And yes, the album title is ironic as hell because Belly is rapping his ass off on the tape. Executive produced by Boi-1da, this is sure to be a banger. Check it out below.

Roc Nation signs Belly

Hov’s house just signed Belly to a recording and management contract – which is great news for the Canadian rapper. Belly has been quietly putting out music for his fans for a couple years now after taking a lengthy hiatus from his debut album. However, he’s been involved in a lot of behind-the-scenes type stuff with his songwriting lending bars to Abel otherwise known as The Weeknd. We’re excited for what Belly will do next and until his new album drops you can bump the two new joints he dropped below.

Insomnia and drug abuse are some of the things that Belly struggles with, but you can tell his pen game doesn’t suffer. The XO associate dropped ‘Counting Sheep’ today and the track is exactly what you can expect. The fast paced beat features an incredible vocal sample and the drums will definitely get your head bumping. With no hook you can expect straight bars and at the 2 minute mark the beat switches up to bring you down from the ride Belly takes you on in the first half.
