We need more ‘CoCo’ remixes like we need more Transformers movies (we absolutely do not). But this one is different, I promise. German producer Ben Esser leverages Ed Sheeran’s cover of the O.T. Genesis anthem. Rather than creating a gritty trap banger, it has a smooth almost romantic vibe. It starts out with a laidback and emotive feel and transitions into a more powerful future bass drop. I promise this is the last rework of ‘CoCo’ you’ll ever have to listen to.

Last week we posted Ben Esser’s stunning remix of Flume’s – Possum. Today Ben is back with his first original titled ‘Love You More’. The song is in a similar vein to his prior releases with an alluring and consuming vibe. The track centres around an emotional vocal sample which is bent, stretched and chopped throughout. Add in some stellar drum work and stunning keys and Ben Esser’s first original is quite a feat. Stream the track below and be sure to look out for this rising new producer.

Flume – Possum (Ben Esser Remix) – Free Download

Berlin’s own Ben Esser recently reworked one of Flume’s earliest tracks ‘Possum’ and the end result is fantastic. Adding some captivating vocal samples, rich strings and solid drum work, this might just be better than the original. The song exudes a vibed out sound that will transport you to a European coast line. It’s the first effort I’ve encountered from Ben Esser but I will be keeping a close eye on him moving forward.
