#tbt – PARTYNEXTDOOR – Persian Rugs (Falcons Bootleg)

A year and a half ago, OVO Sound artist Partynextdoor or PND for short – dropped a track on SoundCloud titled ‘Persian Rugs‘. The track was a mellow but seductive track featuring a chilled out beat and the usual PND style filtered singing and crooning. Soon after Falcons grabbed a hold of the track and gave it more life. The bootleg features snaps, hi-hats, a better sounding kick and snare combined with squeaking bed and water drop sound effects. He amplifies the sexiness ten fold and chops the vocals just enough to give the track a facelift. Check it out below.

Kris Kross – Jump (Hexes x Willy Joy Bootleg)

I first heard Kris Kross’ ‘Jump’ back when it dropped in 1992. My brother was blasting the tune from a small JVC boombox in his room. When I walked in the energy grabbed me and as the song encourages you to do so, I jumped. Since then, the original has become one of my favourite records of all time and throughout the years though many have tried to reuse the beat only a couple have been successful. You may remember Nipsey’s ‘Hussle in the House’ which was a G’d-up-from-the-feet-up version of the 90’s classic. Another successful rework of the Kris Kross banger is this bootleg from Hexes and Willy Joy. The two come together to tweak the track while paying homage to the original. Halfway through it, Hexes and Willy Joy cut the track in a way that will definitely make you jump. Press play and grab the free download!

Drake – 0 to 100 (Grandtheft Bootleg)

Canadian producer Grandtheft has come through with a bootleg of Drake’s ‘0 to 100’ real quick. The original has been out for less than a week and Grandtheft has already put his own touch on it. The producer drops some scratches and adds some serious aggression and bass turning it into a 100 bpm trap banger. Look for this to be getting a ton of love from DJs moving forward. Above and Beyond – Sun & Moon (ETC!ETC! Bootleg)

It’s already been a busy year for ETC!ETC! dropping the “Fuck Mix” to Borgore’ s Decisions and the Moombahton track Soltera just 5 days ago, he comes through with even more music today. The new track is a Bootleg of Above and Beyond’s Sun & Moon. The tracks begins with the trancey feel of the original as it builds then morphs into a mellow trap vibe with some signature ETC!ETC! sound. Unfortunately no word on the download for now, but you can stream it below. Turn up your speakers and vibe out.
