Birthdayy Partyy is kicking off their festival season with their fan favorite, ‘Cake’.

‘Cake’ features emcee Born I who is fresh off his collaboration with Bassnectar and Gnar Gnar. Together with the twins, Born I brings fierce energy throughout his verses, shepherding each bass drop in the bass-boosted breakbeat feat.

There is a lot of energy in the track, with lyrics like “no questions I do what I want/it’s your birthday you do what you want”, and dramatic pauses in the music emphasize Born I’s intensity. Birthdayy Partyy show off their dexterous mixing skills flashing between sharp breaks, rich trap horns, and slinky synths- plenty of juicy tidbits. If this track sounds familiar it’s because ‘Cake’ has been part of the DJ duo’s set for a while and are only now officially releasing it. I’m sure that was just a taste and now fans can take a bigger bite out of this big bass track.

Check it below and be sure to catch this on their set list wherever they play this season.
