First off, how has 2022 been treating you so far?

2022 so far has been busy and beautiful which has made me really excited for the rest of the year.

Any major goals you’ve set for the coming months?

Working on new music, releasing new music, and killing more shows.

You’ve been quite a regular with Confession for a while, how did that relationship come to be?

I’ve known Tchami for a while. We’ve always been friends and when I initially started working on my own music, I would send it to him to critique. The first track that he loved was ‘SOS’ and he suggested that I drop it on Confession. And for the support that he gave me in the beginning, I will always release music through Confession.

Congratulations on your newest single! Are there any plans for another EP or potential album on the horizon?

Yes! I have a two-track EP that I’m releasing on Hard Records in late April. And I have a few more tracks that I am releasing on Confession throughout the year.

You recently played HARD Pacific Northwest! How was the energy and overall vibe of the performance?

The energy was amazing! This was my first time playing in Tacoma dome and they really gave me the best vibes during my set. The crowd was rockin!

Outside of electronic music, what artists are you usually listening to? Any underrated musicians you highly recommend?

I have a wide spectrum of things that I’m listening to currently. Some days I’m listening to Front 242, Kraftwork, The Beatles, and Carly Simon, and then there are days where I’m listening to NIN, Mac Dre, and Ozzy Osbourne.

I would say getting outside, that always changes my perspective. Whether it’s going to the beach, sitting at the park, working out, going for a walk, or simply going for a drive.

For stress and feeling overwhelmed in life, do you have any specific routines you’d do in order to calm the creative mind?

I would say getting outside, that always changes my perspective. Whether it’s going to the beach, sitting at the park, working out, going for a walk, or simply going for a drive. Moving from one space to another always gets my creative juices flowing, especially driving. Having a clean and decluttered space also helps me with being overwhelmed. Oh and a good candle! That always changes my mood.

Since you’re from the Bay Area, what major changes or evolutions within the scene have you noticed over time in terms of this style of music?

The Bass in Tech House genre is definitely making a huge surge in the Bay Area. I think brands like Space Yacht have helped to bring this culture to the Bay really strong.

I’ve always had a feel for dope sounds and I just found a way to make my own music.

Was there a particular moment in your journey where you just felt you were destined to take a creative route?

I always had a love for music, especially growing up in the Bay Area. We have such a drop music culture. I’ve always had a feel for dope sounds and I just found a way to make my own music.

I appreciate all the support I’ve been getting over the past few years. I hope to continue to grow and make more music to dance to and to enjoy and love life.
