It’s finally here! June 21st means it’s the official start of summer, and there’s no better way to celebrate summer than by bumping some warm weather grooves. Not sure what exactly to delve into though? Don’t worry, we’ve got you. Since there was still snow on the ground, we’ve been dreaming of warmer days and putting together the perfect playlist for the season. Cardi B is on fire! From dropping her chart topping debut album Invasion Of Privacy, to hosting Jimmy Fallon and performing on SNL, Cardi B is a certified superstar. Aside from her music, her personality has played a massive role in getting her to where she is. One of the dimensions that’s helped to put her over the top is her wild use of sound effects in interviews. From bird noises, to gun-shots, to near meows, it’s like she’s out here trying to give Desiigner a run for his money. With the incredible time we live in, it was only a matter of time until someone flipped these sounds into a banging track. That time has come with Rawtek’s aptyl titled ‘Cardi Boombahton.’ As you may have guessed the track mixes Cardi’s wide array of sounds with a bouncy moombahton backing. Shred on Over to BC for Snowbombing 2018!

Festival season doesn’t usually come into full swing until the hot summer days are upon us. However, one festival, Snowbombing Canada, is looking to help change such a way of thinking, and kick the winter wonderland woes to the curb in the coolest way possible (no pun intended).

Coors Light presents its 2nd annual Snowbombing – an event which went off on such a good note this year that they’re bringing the hype back to Sun Peaks Resort, BC! Get ready for an extended weekend getaway of slippin’ down the slopes while taking in some of the biggest names in the scene today. It’s going to feature headliners such as Odesza, Cardi B, Borgore, and Goldlink, on top of a gnarly roster of all-star DJs and performers, for the ultimate party to see out the last remaining throes of winter.

Festival aspect aside, there’s also 4,270 acres of open piste for skiers and boarders of all types – whether you’ve never once gone down a hill in your life, or know the slopes like the back of your hand, there’s plenty of space for one to hone their skills, or simply have fun in the snow.

Accommodations vary from 4-star spa luxury hotels complete with jacuzzis, chalets, and apartments in the heart of central Sun Peaks, to pocket-friendly, self-catered apartments within the surrounding area. If you’re trying to live the full lavish lifestyle, or vaycay on a budget, Snowbombing’s got you covered, regardless of wallet size.
