Happy Good Friday! Despite the holiday we’ve got another jam packed playlist for your listening pleasure. We kick things off with a new banger from Bro Safari and follow it up with heaters from Promnite and Baauer. Smookie Illson make their return with ‘Taken Away’. The group recently had their SoundCloud deleted so be sure to hit them with a follow. From there we drift into some future bass courtesy of Bonzai, Wave Racer and Ancient Mermaids. A quick taste of jersey club leads into some heavy house sounds. Mixing things up further comes rap heaters from Tre Capital and Sonē. Finally the playlist closes with vibed out beats from josh pan and Cavalier, some dark filthy sounds from Toronto’s Damn Kids and emotional feels from soslo and NoxInBox. Cavalier is one of illest new producers of 2015. In the past few months the 17 year old Long Beach native has been bodying SoundCloud with tracks like ‘Solid’, ‘Silver’, and the sexy ‘Flirt’ (not to mention the tracks he may or may not have produced as Josh Pan). Today he’s back with a hard rework of Pusha T’s ‘Numbers on the Boards’. Slowing the tempo and turning the bass way up this bootleg is raw as the white Pusha used to flip. Cavalier has been killing it on SoundCloud as of late, getting support from a ton of our favourite artists. His new release ‘Solid’ shows just why. Clocking in at under 3 minutes the song still manages to explore a wide range of soundscapes. The breezy intro features video games synths that’ll make you feel like you’re collecting gold coins. The smooth sound gives way to a hard hitting drop that evolves into a more laid back vibe that exchanges trap drums for some quick club percussion.
