Continuing to bring solid rhythmic structures and mind-boggling sound design to the underground, XAVAGE has been aiming for the stars with every one of his compositions. Building his vision higher than ever before while always staying true to what he believes in his art. And partnering with Circus Records has not only given his journey even more purpose but a wonderful platform for his music. And now, they’ve teamed up once again to help share his voice throughout the scene with his newest EP, Stay Xavage 2. A hard-hitting and memorable sequel to his past EP, Stay Xavage, released two years ago. A chapter that helped him enter a new world and expand his skills and tricks in production. Molding and pushing his sound to what it is today. An inspiring full-circle experience. And with this newest four-track project, he really went all out and delivered another energetic masterpiece.

I released my first EP with Circus Records in 2020 and we have kept a close relationship ever since. As we approached 2022 it only made sense to release my sophomore EP with them. I’m honored to have Circus Records give me a platform to showcase my bouncy trap music even though historically the label is known for bass music. They truly believe in me.”

– XAVAGE

Stay Xavage 2 highlights his victories, challenges, and overcomes throughout his time as an artist. Perfecting his craft day by day while experimenting with fun and whimsical tools of destruction. From a grit-infused song with The Oshi called ‘Hot,’ to an over-the-top experience with ‘Get Down,’ this EP really sends you for a loop in the best ways possible. Surprising and impressing the audience time and time again thanks to his bouncy drums, heart-pounding bass lines, and more. You’ll be nothing but addicted to what this experience has to offer. Power and energy you won’t feel anywhere else. We’re excited to see where XAVAGE goes from here. So make sure to go support by streaming Stay Xavage 2 everywhere via Circus Records!

Unleashing an absolute monster tune, XAVAGE and The Oshi drop their newest piece, ‘Hot.’ A spicy and wavy anthem! A perfect combination of electronic and hip-hop that honors both movements with crisp production, iconic vocals, and booming energy. In ‘Hot,’ XAVAGE and The Oshi are ready to take over the dance floors while simultaneously bringing true justice to the underground. And that’s not all. Returning once again to the legendary label, and working together to create nothing but greatness, this is only the first single off of XAVAGE’s upcoming EP with Circus Records.

For some time now, XAVAGE has been delivering a special flare to the industry. His cosmic grooves combined with classic trap sound design have brought him wonderful success and endless determination. From shining self-releases, to working with top-tier labels such as Quality Goods Records, brednbutter, and more, he’s stopping at nothing. The beatmaker is also quite the regular with the Circus Records family. Taking a leap of faith, he released his first EP with the label back in 2020, creating major hype and curiosity for his overall project and giving him the spotlight he deserved. Now, XAVAGE and Circus are reuniting once again for his sophomore EP, changing the game and delivering only the best he has to offer.

“I released my first EP with Circus Records in 2020 and we have kept a close relationship ever since. As we approached 2022 it only made sense to release my sophomore EP with them. I’m honored to have Circus Records give me a platform to showcase my bouncy trap music even though historically the label is known for bass music. They truly believe in me.”

XAVAGE

As for The Oshi, the Milwaukee-based artist has a burning passion and style of her own. From her addicting rhythmic structures to empowering vocals, she’s a complete powerhouse in her own right. She’s even blessed the works of Jon Casey, Sharrod Sloans, and now XAVAGE. Together, they make a dangerous team, resulting in one of the hardest tracks of 2022 so far.

‘Hot’ is a gift that keeps on giving. Containing colorful and priceless gems in the forms of free-flowing melodies, hard-hitting compositions, and more. The deep and groovy bass line completely takes over your body, forming chills all around and tapping right into your soul and inner mind with its attitude and personality. The track just makes you dance like no one’s watching. Creating a perfect and adaptable environment for The Oshi to make her own.

And once The Oshi pops in, she really gives it her all in such a suave and smooth fashion. An outstanding vocal performance with hypnotic tonnage takes the experience to the next level, making everything come together perfectly. It’s a song you’ll play on repeat while cruising down the streets with the utmost confidence. Not to mention the attention the detail. Swift drum patterns mixed with unique effects create a journey you’ll cherish. The natural and organic feeling compliments both artists from beginning to end. We’re excited for XAVAGE’s full EP, but for now, make sure to go support by streaming ‘Hot’ everywhere via Circus Records!

California based musician, Shlump has released his new EP, Program Malfunction on Circus Records. He continues to impress his audience thanks to the diversity in sound design and mind bending arrangements. Making appearances on Circus Records, Wakaan and more, he’s leaving his mark on the underground bass scene anyway he can. Shlump is known for his space filled techniques consisting of top notch engineered elements. You can imagine yourself floating through the cosmos with every release. And this EP is proof he’s evolving in the best ways.

Program Malfunction is a trip through time and space. Each piece holds a characteristic standing out in their own way. The first track, ‘Program Malfunction,’ is his collaboration with experimental bass artist, Call Me. From the future garage style introduction, to the hard-hitting chorus, it has a lot of surprises. You can hear both styles being combined in harmony. A perfect introduction to the whole project.

Next up is a track called ‘Hardcore.’ The vibe lives up to the title completely. If you love heavy bass in your face, this one will be on repeat for you. Starting out with a lush and intense introduction, he knows how to get the listener invested and ready for what’s to come. With a heavy buildup going straight into the drop, Shlump wastes no time in sharing his creative craft with the world. It’s a blast of distorted leads, taking you away into another dimension. Making an extra effort to please headbangers everywhere.

‘Lose Control’ evokes a calm yet impactful feeling onto you. Being able to migrate heavy sound design into a different style is what makes the song feel fresh and new for Shlump. It’s an experience like no other. You can hear and feel the amount of time it took to create such a song. ‘Lose Control’ hypnotizes the listener and brings them into a whole new world of sound and rhythm. A song you’ll want to hear live in the future.

Finally, he takes a bow and ends the project with a special surprise. He blesses our ears with a remix of the Doctor P classic ‘Sweet Shop.’ Released back in 2009, it was a major tune for the legend himself. Now in 2020, it’s back. But this time, it’s brought into the future thanks to Shlump’s impressive production style. He does the song justice and more which is sometimes hard to achieve with classics. Once the piano from the original kicks in along with his heavy drums, you know we’re going to hear something spicy. The buildup shows he’s ready to show what he’s made of. And once the chorus is activated, it will leave a huge smile on your face. The intense and distorted leads he creates compliment the original track well. Incorporating a similar vibe and feeling from the original made it feel familiar and new at the same time. A notable remix overall.

In the end, we’re pleased to say Program Malfunction is a strong and memorable project. From the first song to the last, you’ll have it on repeat. We’re excited to see and hear what he creates next.

Stream Program Malfunction below,

Consistently pushing a heavy dubstep sound that often edges on the side of riddim, the LA-based artist has since seen a steady growth in following largely due to his infectious sound.

Finding a welcome home for his sound with Circus Records, SweetTooth looks to further this constant ascent with the release of his impressive Corvus Memoirs EP. True to the title of the project, ‘Anthem Of The Corvus’ begins with a haunting, Game Of Thrones-esque crow caw that instils chills within listeners. The rest of the track is a repeated pummelling of gruelling bass stabs perfect for any dubstep fan, and this theme only continues to remain present throughout the project. Each track offers a unique taste of SweetTooth’s style, with one common trend: raw, unadulterated heaviness. Don’t miss Corvus Memoirs below.

Jantsen Robertson, also known succinctly as Jantsen, has been an absolute legend in the bass music community for almost a decade now, creating high energy productions that turn crowds into carnal bloodbaths. Utilizing crafty vocal acapellas that he surgically inserts on top of his already vicious pieces, this man creates unique live performances that feel like a full body workout by the close. Now, he’s put his head together with the young, comical legend from the south TVBOO, to bring fans a devastating track that’s so hot, you’ll need to keep several gallons of milk on deck.

Out on the ever-friendly home of dirty-nasty dubs, Circus Records, ‘Got Dat’ continues a tyrannical campaign of audible domination. From the introduction of the saucy vocals you’ll be bopping to the beat, full bobble-head mode engaged. With the introduction of the drums you’ll be sent into a spiraling frenzy, not quite concretely sure what’s about to happen, but fully knowing that shit is going to go down. With little regard for human life, the dirt-nasty wubs from the beginning of the first drop will leave you mouthing “what the fuck” right before they descend into longer, more drawn-out notes that illicit a hearty “ooooh.” The production on this piece is absolutely top-notch, with palpable electric energy coursing throughout that will surely wake you from even the deepest slumber. So what exactly do Jantsen and TVBOO “Got”? A massive, fiery banger, that’s what. With such a massive success for their first collaboration, this fan is eagerly awaiting their next joint effort. Check out ‘Got Dat’ for yourself below!

Few producers are keeping the melodic touch of dubstep alive as well as Franky Nuts has done over the last couple of years. Finding a fitting home with Circus Records for the majority of his releases, the Dutch producer has consistently demonstrated his ability to add emotion and euphoria to his tracks while still keeping the gritty essence of bass.

Looking to pick up right where he left off, Franky Nuts returns to the London-based label with an official remix for the label-head himself. Tackling Flux Pavilion’s jubilant ‘Somebody Else’ featuring poignant vocals from GLNNA, Franky Nuts balances the endearing touch of the original with his own bass-riddled sound to perfection. The vocals from GLNNA are kept intact in the introduction yet are layered above energy-building chords that hint at the onslaught of ecstasy that follows. As the drop hits, quintessential Franky Nuts comes to light through punchy bass stabs and vibrant chords, making his remix of ‘Somebody Else’ a certified bop. Check it out below.

Xavage has had a massive year and all of his hard work and successes have culminated to the Stay Xavage EP, a statement work to cap off the year with a bang. The project, released on Circus Records, sees the LA-based producer at his finest, refusing to conform to genres and displaying an aptitude to jump between these with incredible grace.

Despite being named ‘In The Trap,’ the opening track of Stay Xavage utilizes rap vocals from DARKMARK to lure you in before a wonky experimental bass section flips the tune on its head. Flexing added production prowess, Xavage then bridges the second rap verse into a drum & bass section that is equally minimal as it is mesmerizing. ‘Error’ follows, seeing Xavage take his time to draw you in with sinister soundscapes before a foreboding build up leads listeners into a heavy bass drop that is filled with chaotic intricacies. Again playing on the unspoken beauty of combining trap and drum & bass, Xavage showcases his hypnotizing sound design throughout ‘Burn ‘Em Out’ and keeps you intrigued front start to finish. ‘Give Me All Your Love’ caps off the project with a flavourful blend of emotion and bass.

Overall, the Stay Xavage EP is sure to be a FUXWITHIT fan favourite. Don’t miss it below.

Over the last few months, Axel Boy has found a solid home over at Circus Records. A label that releases a plethora of forward-thinking bass music paired with the Bristol-based producer’s electric sound has shown to be a match made in heaven, with Axel Boy only continuing to further his prowess over recent releases such as ‘Escapism,’ ‘Let It Show‘ and ‘Scat Down Low.’

Ahead of his Phases EP set to drop October 4th, Axel Boy has graced the world with a fun-filled mixtape loaded with unreleased material as well as a new single sharing the same title as the project. ‘Phases’ featuring The Arcturians, who are no strangers to make hits themselves, is a quintessential Axel Boy banger driven by the angelic vocals of the Kelowna-based trio. In a constant battle between the euphoric vocals and the downright grit of Axel Boy’s sound, ‘Phases’ pulls at your heartstrings while also unleashing your inner basshead and shuffler. Drawing inspiration from the rugged UK bassline style and pairing it with a North American bass influence, Axel Boy has never been in a better situation to take over the world with his infectious sound.
