It’s Friday and that means it’s time to get caught up on some of the best tracks of the week. For FUXWITHITFRIDAYS 106 we’ve got what you’ve come to expect: a broad range of quality tunes. Kicking things off comes the massive Dillon Francis remix from Crnkn which is immediately followed by groovy Motely Crue remix from Whiite. Other standouts include the latest from Medasin & X&G, new DJ Sliink, and some house from Bijou, Nukid, Joyryde and The 1989. Capping things off comes an incredible rework/cover of ‘I’m on One’ from new comers PRXZM. The vocals are stunning and production is stellar. Enjoy your weekend and share this with a friend.

Louis The Child’s ‘It’s Strange’ gets remixed by CRNKN, Jailo, Boombox Cartel and Many More

I’ve seen some pretty huge remix releases before but this might be the biggest yet. Today, Louis The Child unleashed their ‘It’s Strange’ remix album featuring 20 tracks (currently 15 available for stream). With so many variations there’s at least one of two that are guaranteed to blow you away. Standouts includes reworks from Jailo, CRNKN, Boombox Cartel, and Wheathen. But to be fair there isn’t a bad one in the bunch. Stream them all below and grab the album off iTunes. All proceeds are going to Kiva. What’s your favourite remix?

Sam Gellaitry – Waiting So Long (CRNKN Remix)

In the span of a month, CRNKN has released a slew of incredible remixes including ‘Lean On’, ‘Gold Dust’, & ‘Just Like’. Today he returns with yet another, taking on Sam Gellaitry’s ‘Waiting So Long’. The track opens with a smooth melody that picks up with a steady drum build and vocal chops. A whistle and brief pause give way to a mind bending bass line. The addition of the vocals make for a song that is addictive and ingenious. Listen below and grab the free download.

Fresh off a wild remix for The M Machine, CRNKN is back with another massive official rework. Taking on the Major Lazer x DJ Snake summer anthem ‘Lean On’. The track opens with MØ’s vocals as the focus. As CRNKN brings in the drums, the track begins to build toward a mind rattling drop. CRNKN – Glaciers

CRNKN is an artist that I have been following for quite some time. He made a name for himself as Trap music was just starting to make noise and dropped a ton of bangers including ‘Booty 2 The Ground’ and ‘No Hands’. When he released his beautiful remix of TOKiMONSTA’s ‘Go With It’ it seemed he may be taking a new direction. Time proved it to be true as the past year has seen the producer experimenting with a variety of different sounds and genres from Deep House to Electronica and Future Bass. His latest release ‘Glaciers’ may be his greatest evolution yet. The song combines a multitude of musical elements for a sound that is unique and breathtaking. It opens with heavenly looped vocal samples and elegant synths that lead into a mind boggling yet stunning drop. The track is truly mesmerizing and deserving of the often overused title epic. Waka Flocka – No Hands (CRNKN Remix)

It’s Thursday and that means it’s time to throw it back with another installment of ‘Tracks You May Have Missed’. Before CRNKN was exploring the wide expanse of electronic genres in which he has dabbled (Future Bass, Deep House, Electro, etc.) the artist was making noise in the Trap scene. CRNKN actually introduced me to a ton of my favourite artists through his ‘It’s A TRAP Summer 2012’ mix (unfortunately it’s no longer online). So today I wanted to share one of my personal favorite tracks of his, a rework of Waka Flocka’s ‘ No Hands’. Utilizing Waka’s ignorant party vocals, nasty 808’s, killer vocal chops and some heavy bass, the tune is sure to have you wylin’ out. Stream below and be sure to snag the free download.
