Spiraling towards the center of the Earth, Bassrush return with their latest installment of a series which puts only the nastiest up and coming bass musicians on a pedestal. They call it, The Prophecy: Volume 4. And with great success and attention to their other chapters, the label continues to impress and amaze the audience with mind-bending new musicians to take the spotlight. From hard-hitting arrangements, to jaw-dropping sound design, these artists are not to be messed with within the spectrum.

Musicians such as TWERL, Cyclops, Slang Dogs and more have all created individual works of art to honor the label itself as well as their own talents. It’s to no surprise that we’d see such high-thinking souls on this lineup. They’ve pushed the underground bass scene to its highest stature. Exposing many to the true future of electronic music. So prepare to have your heart stopped and brought back to life with this gorgeous new ten-track adventure.

The Prophecy: Volume 4 honors the past, present, and overall future of the label and its artists. Each track is its own spirit and lifeline. The amount of filth and talent oozing from these legends is truly impressive and unthinkable. Insidious atmospheres, exhilarating bass leads, you name it. This whole compilation is chocked full of disgusting gems to admire and cherish for a lifetime. Letting everyone know who’s on the true come up. From a trap masterpiece from TWERL and Avance, to a classic Riddim heater from Cromatik and Cyclops, you won’t even know what’s next due to their unique skills and surprises. Each track has its own story to tell in a violent fashion. Perfect for any bass head ready for those brand new and intellectual tracks. The Bassrush label did a fantastic job recruiting these beautiful artists. They all deserve high praise for their hard work. So make sure to go support them all by streaming The Prophecy: Volume 4 everywhere!

Despite being a recurring force on some of the biggest labels in the bass realm such as Never Say Die: Black Label, the home of his last two EPs, as well as Disciple Round Table, Bassrush, and more, it seems as though Cromatik often flies under the radar when people think of big names in the underground scene. Nonetheless, the talented producer always delivers ground-shattering material, letting his music speak for itself and disregarding the often-cacophonous nature of social media.

Later this week, Cromatik is slated to unleash his third project on Never Say Die: Black Label titled the Divide By Zero EP, and this ensemble is no exception to the above statement. Altogether, the EP furthers the robotic, maniacal nature of Cromatik’s sound and pushes it to new heights. And, ahead of its full release, we are ecstatic to premiere ‘Spectral Vision’ here today – a personal favourite from the well-rounded project.

The introduction of ‘Spectral Vision’ sets the stage for the fury that follows, as a futuristic soundscape is painted through mystifying effects and a gradual build in tension. The real highlights of this track are its drops though, as a perfect balance of grungy, mechanical basses and a top layer of electric synths create a harmonious combination of headbang-inducing bars. The flow is crisp from start to finish, the sound design will give you goosebumps, and the oddly melodic overtones display Cromatik’s true skills. What more could one need? Dive into ‘Spectral Vision’ below!

Bassrush Records features an outspoken cast of contributing talents that span to cover every nook and cranny of the bass scene.

While Bassrush has consistently maintained a steady outpouring of audible content and a salient presence as a stage host for major events, such as Electric Forest, it wasn’t until the midway point this past summer that the brand further explored the concept of a roster compilation, as featured in the Ghost Town LA soundtrack, which features tracks from Bassrush dark dubstep front-runners Caspa, Ternion Sound, Coki, Eazybaked, and Bukez Finezt.

Now revealing the first chapter of a novel new compilation, The Prophecy: Vol. 1 works as a synopsis of Bassrush’s talent, composing 11-unique tracks including a long-anticipated collaborative gauntlet between sfam, G-Space, & Mystic Grizzly, as well as tunes from the likes of Esseks, Shanghai Doom, Abelation, FRQ NCY, and ECRAZE.

Encompassing the many eclectic sub-genres that bass has to offer, this new Bassrush Compilation is not one to miss. Be sure to check out The Prophecy: Vol. 1 out now below!

A true underdog in the underground dubstep scene, Cromatik is a genuine artist who always lets his music do the talking. Last time we caught up with him, the Austin-based producer really demonstrated that it is his unparalleled work ethic that has gotten him to where he is today, and his recent outpour of new tunes is a direct result. From the Cyberpunk EP released earlier this year to a recent collaboration (and tour) with Midnight Tyrannosaurus, there has been no shortage of sound design madness from Cromatik this year. Building on this momentum, the talented artist returns to Never Say Die: Black Label today with the Invasion Of Chaos EP.

The monstrous four-track piece is exactly what you’d expect from a Black Label project. Sinister melodies, wicked energy-filled build ups and aggressive sounds are rampant throughout, yet each track is unique enough to stand out on its own. The titled track and ‘Boss Fight’ are insanely guttural and make use of futuristic plucks to give the tracks an otherworldly feel, while ‘Doom Tomb’ and ‘Breach’ have this wobbly death-stomp essence to them that really unleash your inner headbanger.

The Invasion Of Chaos EP is not for the faint of heart, but heavy dubstep fans are in for a real treat. Don’t miss it below.
