Lido Drops Massive ‘Everything’ Remix Album

Last year, Lido released his incredible full length project Everything. The album showcased the breadth of his talent and cemented him as one of the most impressive artists in electronic music. Remixing such a stellar body of work is no easy feat, but Lido found a crop of artists that were more than up for the challenge. From heavy weights like Alison Wonderland, Brasstracks and Dan Farber to under the radar talents like mossy., Soft Glas and umru. What makes this release so great is the variety and quality of each rework. The tracks are completely re-envisioned, building upon peices of the originals and creating something completely different. Although not included in the offical remix pack, Alexander Lewis and Y2K put their own spin ‘Murder’ as well. If you’re a fan boisterous brass-packed trap then you’ll love this one.

Dan Farber – Kiss The Sky

Dan Farber has become a staple in our FUXWITHIT Fridays segment. Every track he drops is a smash that is guaranteed to have you ready to party. When I saw that he decided to take on Jimi Hendrix classic ‘Purple Haze’ I was very interested. Reworking a track as big as this is no small feat but Farber shows that he is more than up to the task. The remix does a great job utilizing Jimmi’s vocals and his amazing guitar. With some fresh drums and twerked out drops this is sure to be a staple amongst festivals.
