The fans want Dear America, don’t let ’em wait. Now that the wait is over and the EP from Toronto’s own P Reign is available – P released his a single for fans to stream for free via SoundCloud. The track is a banger featuring a dope verse and infectious hook from crew-mate PARTYNEXTDOOR. PND’s “TWO” released earlier this summer and is still on heavy rotation in my car. This track feels a little different for a PND feature, but his contribution makes it that much better. P steps up second and raps effortlessly over the beat but the best thing to happen to this song comes in two third’s of the way through. Though Meek is still in jail for being in violation of his probation, hearing a new verse from the Philly rapper is amazing. Meek might not be the most lyrical rapper (though if you assess his previous battle scene joints, the kid can hang with some giants) but his energy on a track is unmatched. P Reign – Where You Been

Dear America. Letting the fans know why he hasn’t blessed American soil, Reign takes to the beat on “Where You Been” to fill us in. This is a dope joint from P Reign, his previous drops have been equally as good but this one seems to have a pretty infectious hook and the beat is undeniable. Coming from G-Way (one of Toronto’s most notorious neighborhoods), Reign doesn’t stray far away from his life as a dealer but he does a good job of shedding some light on how far he’s come, where he’s headed and obviously where he’s been.
