Dougie F and DJ Fire’s ‘Back Up On It’ was one of biggest jersey club tracks of 2014, landing itself #28 in our top 50 songs of the year countdown. Since its release there have been a few stellar unreleased remixes floating about. Today Mad Decent dropped the official remix EP which features eSenTRIK, Mark Johns, Samisoni, Vices, and Jesse Slayter. Each rework takes the track into a new direction ranging from bouncy house, gritty club and futuristic feels. No matter what you’re into, there’s at least one remix in here that’s sure to blow you away. Stream below and cop the free downloads.

TWRK – WE ARE TWRK

The long anticipated debut EP from the twerk kings, TWRK, has finally arrived. Simply titled, WE ARE TWRK, Benzi and eSenTRIK give us 4 tracks of mid-tempo fire. Kicking things off is ‘Helicopter’, a track built upon massive brass builds and absurdly enjoyable vocals chops. ‘Make it Bounce’ gets a little assistance from Lambo and everyone’s favourite tell you how to dance MC, Fly Boi Keno. A middle Eastern melody and the rambunctious raps are a perfect match. Next up TWRK take everyone back to ‘Spring Break’ alongside Dougie F and The Rej3ctz. The track has been out since early March but it hasn’t lost any of its excitement. Closing things out is the San Holo collaboration entitled ‘Dump it’. It’s easily the project’s most adventurous work; combining gritty rap vocals, with obscure vocal samples and futuristic drops. Stream the project below and support the EP on iTunes.

TWRK – Spring Break (feat The Rej3ctz & Dougie F)

TWRK have been relatively quiet for the past few months, presumably working on their upcoming WE ARE TWRK EP (dropping May 5th). Today the 100 bpm kings have returned with a massive anthem just in time for ‘Spring Break’. With party raps from Dougie F & The Rej3ctz the track is catchy and turnt up. Brenmar – Award feat. Dougie F

To build anticipation for his upcoming EP, Brenmar has just unleashed the title track ‘Award’. Connecting with rising rapper Dougie F (‘Back Up On It’) the two craft a smash that is primed to bang out in the club (both strip and night). The lyrics, “Clap like you just won an award, ass of the year, let em know it’s all yours” are reinforced by the claps in the beat and the round of applause in the song’s opening. This might be the Instagram/Vine twerk theme song of early 2015. Whether you’re trying to make a twerk video or simply turn up this is your jam. Look out for the Award EP dropping January 20th on Fool’s Gold.
