Following the release of his debut Repercussions EP released via Emengy earlier this year, Wonky Tonk is a further demonstration that this southern tumbleweed isn’t merely rolling through town. Split evenly down the middle, the 4-track EP depicts an audible rollercoaster with a country twist, sandwiching two heavyweight crucibles of bass in ‘Sassy Sally’ and ‘Tater Tits’ between the guileful experimental introduction of ‘Bleacher Creature’ alongside beat maestros um.. and the long-anticipated capstone track to the project ‘Froggy Frank’.
