We’re taking it back to early 2012 when Trap music was just starting to really gain traction. The song is Baauer’s ‘Dum Dum’. Most casual fans know Baauer as “the guy who made Harlem Shake” but he is far more than that. One of best breakout producers of 2012, Baauer was instrumental in the Trap movement and ‘Dum Dum’ is one of his best tracks to date. Clocking in at only 2:00 the track is short but perfect. Containing a wide array of samples (“Dum, Dum”, “Okay”, “Damn Son Where’d You Find this?”) and a jazzy, bass heavy drop, the song is guaranteed to have your speakers rattling for days. Crank up your subs and enjoy.
