Matroda – ‘Late Night Talks’ EP

A house music pioneer who has the ability to control the crowd in any state. Matroda releases his ‘Late Night Talks’ EP for the masses. The EP kicks off with ‘Britney,’ a track that Matroda premiered at EDC Las Vegas, featuring electrifying vocals by Dances that guide listeners through each exhilarating drop. The energy continues with ‘Came To The Club’ and ‘Down’ (a collaboration with INDECK.), where minimalistic vocal use allows the groovy, funk-infused basslines to take center stage, delivering infectious rhythms that keep bodies moving. Another standout, ‘When The Bass Kicks In,’ sees Matroda teaming up with fellow Terminal Underground artist Teko to create a pulsating tech house anthem. With its irresistible beat and clean, minimalist vocals, the track encapsulates the high-energy vibe Matroda is celebrated for. Matroda’s EP definitely shows off his creativity and full-on technical precision like no other.

Fred Dope & Luke DB – ‘Alive’

Two artists from Milan bring us ‘Alive’ on none other than DBMAFIA Music Label, pushing a no-nonsense sound the mob could rave to. Sharp rhythms and clunky drops meet vocals from the dance floor police to allow us to shed our ambition and truly live in the moment. Fred Dope comes from the luxury poolside raves of the Italian shores and hosts the Rave Cast while Luke DB holds the reins at DBMAFIA Music Label, keeping the sound as fresh as can be with this tinge of honesty and finger on the pulse of dance music. Together Fred and Luke strike gold with ‘Alive’, that you can find as a free download along with Fred Dope’s recent remix of Juan Magan & Marcos Rodriguez ‘Bora Bora’ as well as another must-listen from Luke DB with Franky D.P., a remix that will get people praising on the dance floor, ‘Let Children Free.’

Stafford Brothers – ‘Bésame Mucho’

Latin tech is exactly what the world is asking for, uniting the dance floors across hemispheres. Hailing from Australia the Stafford Brothers have dove into the Latinx culture to bring up a crunchy Latin house record ‘Bésame Mucho’, and it is clicking with the crowd all around with creativity added by the renowned Latin producer, G4bba, and Mexico’s pop artist, Crash Yeye. The Stafford Brothers ran it back with G4bba for ‘Bésame Mucho’ following their previous collaboration with DERRO titled, ‘Cascabel’ a memorial single that aired at Ultra Miami’s mainstage in 2023. The Brothers have kept up an amazing tour since then, rocking the halftime show for the National Rugby League with Timmy Trumpet, Tomorrowland and you can find them at The Grand Boston in November next. Enjoy how the Stafford Brothers go house for ‘Turn Up the Volume with Taylr Renee’ as well.

sundaysunday – ‘Waiting For You’

‘Waiting For You’ by sundaysunday showcases a fresh, introspective side of the artists, diverging from the energetic house and dance sound of previous releases. Written and produced by sundaysunday, the track features warm guitar leads, nostalgic Korg pianos, and evocative vocals by Chase Ellestad. The downtempo, moodier tone of the song captures an emotional depth, marking a new exploration for Sunday-Sunday in the indie dance world. sundaysunday is Watson’s new project with his polished studio mate, Austin, out of Toronto, Canada. Watson is known for his prolific work on Armada Music, Dim Mak, Universal Music, Virgin EMI, FrtyFve, and Strange Fruits. His collaborations with industry giants and recent contributions to Netflix’s ‘Bad Blood’ soundtrack has built his reputation. Now he is out to steal the night with ‘Waiting For You’ alongside Austin, who completes sundaysunday with clean live instrumentation and plays a vital role in running their revered Dopamine Machine Records.

Rafasan releases a taste of tech-house in the purest form with ‘OMG.’ This track grabs you, pulls you in, and demands you move, stripping away any fluff and leaving only the raw, simplistic essence. ‘OMG’ is relentless, unapologetic, and simple, with one goal: make people dance.

The summertime also known as festival season is one of our favourite times of the year as we have the opportunity to hit those iconic events around the globe and of course, hear all the new house music which leaves us in awe for more. Back with our second edition of FUXWITHIT House Selects, all eyes and ears are on these producers as they take over the music industry featuring Barkin, Matroda, Elohim, Erick Diaz, Freshcobar, Levi, TATE SEDAR and SUBSHIFT.

Barkin & Gabi’el – Hypnotic

Barkin fell in love with dance music many years ago after attending his first music festival, EDC New York. Dreaming of one day being on stage, he began his music production journey four years ago at the prestigious Icon Collective Music School. Starting in the bass house circuit, he has since evolved his sound and garnered a worldwide fan base like no other. Now, the New York-based producer is continuing his biggest year yet with his fourth release of 2024. Teaming up with UK vocalist Gabi’el, ‘Hypnotic’ is a versatile tech-house track designed to get crowds moving and grooving on the dancefloor. With a tension-filled intro leading into a powerful drop, Gabi’el’s hypnotizing vocals dominate, expertly pulling listeners in as Barkin drives the track forward.

Matroda & Dances – Britney

Matroda is a true mastermind in the house scene and he has called upon Dances to create a club anthem like no other. Dances, known for hits like “Operator” and “Bang,” merges his vocal talent with Matroda’s production, resulting in a fusion of old-school charm and contemporary flair. Their collaboration, ‘Britney,’ is a tech-house blend that has already made waves since its debut on the EDC Las Vegas mainstage. “Britney” goes deep into the dark and gritty side of tech house, complemented by a creative theme and hypnotic production.

Erick Diaz, Freshcobar & Lavelle Dupree – Rock With It

San Diego’s NOS Recordings brings the whole team together to offer ‘Rock With It’, a deep rock groove placed over tech house like you have never heard before. Erick Diaz, Freshcobar and Lavelle Dupree’s ‘Rock With It’ hits at the knees, fills the room with energy and serves as a testament to the trio’s ability to push musical boundaries to deliver a fresh sound that defies conventional genres. Rock melded with tech house, has anyone else made it work so well?

Elohim – Power of Panic

The Power Of Panic album cycle has showcased Elohim’s brilliance in creating symbolic and visually striking content while delving into the intense struggles of mental health. Through these tracks, Elohim explores different facets of her journey, shedding light on issues often kept in the shadows. Highlights include ‘Tiny Human,’ which contrasts the vast, busy world with feelings of insignificance, capturing the overwhelming nature of societal pressures. Another standout, ‘Didn’t Sign Up For This,’ candidly addresses the crushing responsibilities and relentless pressures of modern life, highlighting the heavy toll on mental well-being.

Levi – Jump

Rising from Sydney Harbour’s most esteemed yacht parties, Levi has sprouted his breakout release, ‘Jump’, a melodic house rendition of Ginuwine’s iconic party-starter, ‘Pony’. Transforming the classic R&B chorus into a dance floor anthem, Levi’s track has surged across Europe and the world as we cannot get enough of it. Keeping us sane until his debut European tour, be sure to stay tuned for more updates from this talented artist.

TATE SEDAR – “Shiver” Remix (John Summit & Hayla)

“Shiver” by John Summit and Hayla struck an unexpected chord with TATE SEDAR at a sensitive yet opportune point in his life. Originally never phased by the Summit sounds or bandwagon and while dealing with months of personal tribulation, SEDAR was ignited by the original vocal hit and emotions of personal events to cultivate over months a remix with all he’s got – exhibiting his own personal progression in music-making. A three-drop project, SEDAR transcends the original from Summit’s charming chord progression and Hayla’s organically-powerful vocal into a tasteful amalgamation of electro house dubstep and even techno.

SUBSHIFT & Cave Studio – Get Loose (feat. LexBlaze)

SUBSHIFT and Cave Studio, featuring LexBlaze, have collaborated once again to deliver an intoxicating tech house release in – “Get Loose.” The inspiration behind this project is rooted in their previous success with “Bumpin'” and a memorable trip to Miami for Miami Music Week. The vibrant atmosphere, superb weather, and the dynamic environment at Retail Records studio inspired them to create a track that embodies the essence of summer.

They envisioned a unique, catchy vocal to elevate the track, and having previously collaborated with LexBlaze, they knew he would be the perfect fit. “Get Loose” is crafted to resonate in diverse settings, from beach clubs to after-hour venues.
San Pacho – ‘No Guest List’ EP

San Pacho is a natural when it comes down to pumping up the party and his No Guest List EP only proves this further. The collection includes singles that have energized crowds at major festivals and this is the ideal time to bump these tunes as we enter the festival season. The EP includes six singles, featuring new tracks ‘To Di Drum’ and ‘Cha Cha Cha,’ along with a VIP version of ‘Amor.’ This collection showcases San Pacho’s musical direction for the year and takes listeners on a journey through the new era of house music driven by the man himself.

R-CHY x BoweD – ‘Do It’

You may have heard R-CHY’s releases being aired at Tomorrowland by Tiësto, Alan Walker, or Ilkay Sencan, but now he is about to rile up the dance floor this festival season. ‘Do It’ with Brazilian artist BoweD is a deep-house tune crafted perfectly for those summertime beach and pool parties. It will get you dancing right off the bat and R-CHY never disappoints when it comes down to showcasing his energetic, yet groovy sound design. As he shares “the track’s journey began with a collaboration with BoweD, a supremely talented Brazilian artist. He sent me around ten demos, but this particular one immediately caught my attention. I played around with the stems he sent, enhancing the sound design of the main lead, revamping the kick, and layering in new drum patterns. Additionally, I incorporated unique vocal edits that vary rhythmically throughout the track, rounding it out with a thorough mix and master.”

Proppa x CJ – ‘Steppin’ Out’

If you do not know the Denver-based artist known as CJ, now is the time to keep him on your radar as this rising talent in the house scene has become known for his vibrant personality and dancefloor-ready singles across festivals. Recently playing Regenerate Festival on the main stage and now teaming up with his good friend Proppa for their new single ‘Steppin’ Out’ via Hood Politics, CJ really does it all. Combining elements of house, funk, and hip-hop, ‘Steppin’ Out’ has an appeal like no other. With tight drum beats, a rumbling bass groove, and nods to old-school inspiration, this track promises a summer groove ready to be blasted on the speakers. It’s perfect for kickstarting any party and resonates with both seasoned house fans and newcomers alike.

Jhayco – ‘Holanda’ (Lil Tato Edit)

Jhayco has been a leading force in reggaeton, collaborating with industry heavyweights like Skrillex, Cardi B, and Bad Bunny. His journey from early beginnings in Puerto Rico to international success includes chart-topping hits and critical acclaim, notably with his sophomore album, Timelezz, reaching number two on the Top Latin Albums chart and most of us are familiar with his single ‘Holanda’ that Mexico’s Lil Tato racks over to the house music world for a top-notch latin house remix. Lil Tato is becoming essential for his ability to craft Latin music with minimalism yet potency that attracts pure house heads and reggaeton weekend warriors uniting the dancefloors worldwide.

LEFTI – ‘I’m On FIre’

LEFTI, the brainchild of producer Alex Suarez, releases ‘I’m On Fire,’ a single that deeply embodies the essence of warehouse-party culture while introducing a hybrid sound concept. The track channels the intensity of a peak-hour warehouse rave, merging analog acid elements with a strong tech house base. LEFTI’s bold technique and high-energy soundscapes involve slicing up an acapella to form new phrases, then enlisting a vocalist to re-record these segments, creating an energetic and compelling vocal line. A solid tune for the masses, this one is about the be played on repeat.

Bexxie – ‘Gotta Be Real’

Bexxie has been marinating her classic 90’s rave vibes into her music for years, cooking a sound that sounds as good as home cook meals smell. Recently, Bexxie has revealed ‘Gotta Be Real’ on Insomniac’s IN/ ROTATION and it is truly impeccable. The disco vocals speak to you like your best friend making perfect sense and tied with the big room energy, Bexxie makes this house record essential to experience.

Elohim – ‘Didn’t Sign Up For This’

The multi-dimensional artist known as Elohim as shown the sky is the limit when it comes down to her production style. Elohim’s latest single, ‘Didn’t Sign Up For This’ is the third release from her ongoing album cycle. This track boldly fuses indie vibes with UK garage, incorporating the raw strum of acoustic guitar. It stands out with its distinctive, dark allure while aligning with Elohim’s unique musical identity. A perfect match for those not afraid to take a deep dive into the realms of electronic music.

First off, thank you so much for taking the time for this interview! How’re you? Anything new?

Thank YOU for wanting to interview me! :) I am alright! Every day is different some days are harder than others, some days are filled with serotonin so it’s an ever-changing answer to that question. New hmm yes I am working out pretty much every day and that is new for me and really helpful!

Congratulations on your newest release! What was the creative process like when molding ‘Can’t Remember Your Name?’

Thank you! This process for the whole album including ‘Can’t Remember Your Name’ was different! I spent a lot of time initially just sitting at the piano or writing while driving or while lying in bed. And then I would go into the studio put down a simple piano part and track my vocal to either just a click track or a simple piano track. I would then work with collaborators and produce around my vocals. It was a really fun way to create. For reference in the past, I would go into the studio with nothing and kinda do it all in that day. I still do that lots but this album in particular was a lot of sitting at the piano and writing melodies and lyrics.

It was an outlet for me to try new things and to be authentically me.

Your voice has been an absolute staple in the music industry for many years now, what’re the origins of your project? How did it form into what it is today?

Well that is an extremely kind statement so thank you for making me smile!! It really just started from experimenting. I would go to the studio every evening and stay until 4 am creating trying new things and learning. It was such a special time because I had no clue what would happen with the project. It was an outlet for me to try new things and to be authentically me. By doing that it has been really cool to see the response and connection some people had to the lyrics and message and music. Nothing makes me happier than someone finding comfort in the music I have made. There is really nothing else I could hope for.

Growing up, what kind of music did your parents play in the household? And did those artists or overall music inspire any future creations you made?

A lot of Pink Floyd! U2! Lots of jazz and blues. Jimmy Hendrix! Fleetwood Mac. Steve Vai. And a lot of alternative music played on kroq (local los angeles radio station). I also grew up exclusively studying classical piano so yes I think everything they played and my studies definitely influenced my music-making!

You are one of one and what you create cannot be created by another human being.

From stellar original works that truly speak from the heart to working with artists such as Skrillex, Louis The Child, and Whethan, do you have any words of wisdom or advice to women who are trying to push their vision through their art in such a crazy industry?

I find this industry has always been hard but it feels as if it is getting harder and harder. My advice is to stay true to you. You are one of one and what you create cannot be created by another human being. Focus on you and your goals and what you love. Trust your gut! Work and write as much as possible. Take care of YOU!

Did you always want to pursue a career in music or were there other professions or interests that spoke to you on a similar level?

It has always been music for me! It is all I have ever known. I cannot imagine doing anything else!

The beautiful thing about music is it is infinite! You can always learn more, you can always write more, you can always discover more. It is truly never-ending…

Your journey of self-expression and empowerment through your words, productions, and more have touched the souls of many, where do you see the Elohim project in a few years down the line?

I hope the project is floating through the universe still finding its way into people’s hearts minds souls and ears! The beautiful thing about music is it is infinite! You can always learn more, you can always write more, you can always discover more. It is truly never-ending… One of the rare things on this planet that are like that! All I can hope for is that I am still making a living through music and able to create while giving people something new they have not heard before!

What kind of hobbies do you have outside of the music realm? What brings you happiness and peace of mind?

Lately working out helps so much with my mind and its chaotic nature so I am really into working out. Honestly, I also love watching television and I LOVE taking baths. I love walking and hiking. Being in nature is really healing. I enjoy grocery shopping. Haha.

If you could perform anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose and why?

Anywhere! Maybe Palm Springs? Maybe Japan? Maybe Europe? Palm Springs because I feel happy in the desert. Japan because I’ve never been and it looks very cool! Europe because wow so much to explore that I never have! I truly just pray for my body and mind to calm down enough to allow me to perform anywhere!

What’s next for you? Any exciting updates or plans for 2024?

Yes! Tons of writing and releasing an album and hopefully some special meaningful shows.

We are all human, life is strange but also can be really beautiful. Hang on keep going you are AMAZING.

Thank you again for spending time with us! Any last words you’d like to say to our readers out there?

Whatever you’re going through I want you to know you’re not alone. We are all human, life is strange but also can be really beautiful. Hang on keep going you are AMAZING.

The amount of work and time put into this project is truly amazing. Developing the atmosphere and overall feel throughout the years has shaped Whyte Fang‘s creativity on another level and brought a sense of rebirth through her soul. Creating a fresh start while paying homage to her day-one listeners through a new side of her persona. GENESIS is a bouquet of dark-shaded flora. Showcasing ideas created throughout the years mixed with emotions of pure inspiration and freeness. Making this new project simply exhilarating to see come to life. Made up of 12 tracks, it’s an intoxicating experience from start to finish. Surprises hide throughout each piece as it takes your hand. Guiding you through a forest of newfound life. And leaving with your troubles washed away from the power behind each piece.

From dark ambient wonderlands to whimsical sound design executed in a beautiful fashion, GENESIS is what makes Whyte Fang’s presence separated from many in the industry. Artists such as Elohim, Chidi Himself, and more have all contributed to making this process even more rewarding. Elevating the energy and purpose of the album to another level of uniqueness. ‘333’ is a certified electronic trap classic. The earth-shattering sound design combines together perfectly with her carefully crafted drums. Making it a symbolic essence within the album as it unfolds in an eye-opening progression of effective sonic tones. While ‘Atlantis’ honors the industrial spirit of electronic music. Teleporting listeners into an underground rave. Filled to the brim with impactful melodic structures. Topping it off with a rhythm to make anyone dance like no one is watching!

It’s snowing heavily outside my window. I’m crying inside my heart. The thick snow flakes are slowly covering everything in a cold grip, Laxcity is filling my body with warm, burning emotions.

I don’t know about you, but after Ekali featured him four times in a single Awakening Mix, I knew it was just a matter of time before the two would cross paths again. It took a while, but good heavens, here we are. Stop wars, stop hate, today we’re kicking off a Winter of Love. Honestly I’m still quite mad about all the criticism and negative feedback the original faced. That extreme need of the community for something more ‘complicated’ really disappointed me, but this is another story. Instead, I’m ready to bet that not a single soul on this planet will have something to complain about with Laxcity’s interpretation of ‘Forever’. Not because I judge myself some kind of authoritative critic, but simply because it’s perfect under every point of view (yes, even the already-infamous transition at 1:01). Let’s be honest, it barely sounds like a remix. If we didn’t know the original, given how perfectly Elohim’s voice match with his chill style, it may seems that this was a long studied collaboration.

With his trademark orchestral arrangement, the London producer dismantles the pop construction of the original, making ‘Forever’ a musical stream of consciousness where Elohim’s breathtaking vocals can be appreciated even more. Between the piano, strings and voice, the composition elegantly sways like a candle in a dark room, a candle that warms and illuminates us, and at the same time projects and enlarges our shadows and fears.

Now that Spring is in the air, Louis The Child couldn’t have picked a better time to release their long-anticipated EP.

Each song in the 6-track compilation leads to an overall happy-go-lucky feel that will get your toes tapping, which is what the duo’s best known for. Not only that, but each is backed with a perfectly selected vocalist, with the opening track featuring the vocals of the duo’s very own Freddy Kennett. Whether it’s the steel drums gently caressing the rhythm in ‘Slow Down Love’, or the peaceful, old-school “sippin’ on wine” feel of ‘World On Fire’, you’re bound to find a sense of euphoria as the EP takes you on its own whimsical journey. Check out Love Is Alive below, and let all of your problems melt away.

Louis The Child also announced some upcoming festival dates which they’ll be performing at this spring/summer! This isn’t the full list however; they’re going to announce more dates as times passes, so be on the lookout.
