Underground veterans G-Buck and Four Color Zack have reunited for a second round of mayhem! Their newest track, ‘Can’t Kill Me’ is pure proof true friendships will never die. If you’re going through tough or hard times, this will instantly create a massive wave of inspiration. Telling their audience to fight and to never give up. Now what’s so exciting about this is the beautiful reuniting of two legends.

Taking it back to 2015, their first collaboration, ‘Shakeline’ with FlyBoi Keno was pretty unreal. G-Buck has been evolving and improving his sound as well as Four Color Zack. He personally performed the cuts on it which added another layer of groove to the overall project. And since then, these two continued to go down the endless path of music. Learning, growing, and expanding as artists. To see them pick up right where they left off within the industry is a real treat. You are not ready for this one.

‘Can’t Kill Me’ is an endless trip of rhythm. Highlighting each other’s biggest strengths, there’s many organic and special characteristics within. From angelic future bass chords, knocking drums and even some nasty sound design, G-Buck and Four Color Zack made the perfect first impression back. Keeping that same amount of energy from when they first collaborated. While also shedding light on today’s trap scene. Proving how adaptable they are no matter how much time has gone by. The patterns, percussion, and overall arrangement is truly intoxicating to the core. Making anyone want to bop their head from beginning to end. This is by far one of 2021’s greatest tracks for sure. So make sure to show all support by streaming ‘Can’t Kill Me.’

Back in November Craze & Four Color Zack dropped ‘Rebel’ under their 2¢ collaborative project. With samples including “you can rebel,” and “too many of us are frustrated,” I said it was an anthem for times; halfway through 2020 it couldn’t be more relevant. Giving the track 6 unique takes comes the official ‘Rebel’ remix pack featuring underground favourites thook, XAVAGE, TaDa, Rathero, plus Electro legends MSTRKRFT and a remix from the GOAT Craze.

“Rebel has such a dope message that I knew we had to give it more life with some remixes. So as usual I reached out to some of the new blood that I feel is popping to give it new life. The icing on the cake was MSTRKRFT. They hit us up saying they love the original and would like to remix ….. so DUH! We sent them stems ASAP and they delivered that amazing acidy remix. We’re very happy with this remix pack. Especially in times like this …. we need music with a message but still banging!” – Craze

Kicking things off comes a wild acid house take from MSTRKRFT. The driving flip takes listeners straight into the rave. You can feel the bass in your chest, see the strobes, and smell the sweat dripping off this one. Rathero is up next with a festival trap/club hybrid that’s meant for massive stages and systems. TaDa has been on absolute tear through 2020 and his take on ‘Rebel’ shows us why. It’s peak experimental trap; flexing some filthy sound design with a futuristic knock.

If there’s one thing you can count from thook, it’s that his tracks will absolutely fuck you up. One of the most creative minds in trap and bass crafts the remix that only he could. Sprinkling his signature dust all over ‘Rebel’ the drops will leave your brain twisted into pretzel-like proportions. Keeping the energy ramped-up comes Xavage’s dancey but filthy flip. Drippy synths will have you dropping low while the drums get your feet shuffling. This is party trap music. Bringing things to a close comes Craze’s own take on ‘Rebel.’ The legendary DJ and producer dips into his DnB roots for an energetic and gritty remix that feels like a grimy London warehouse party.

Rebel Remixes provides something for every basshead, leveraging the impactful vocals of the original with incredible new directions. With legends and underground favourites alike, this is a can’t miss. Stream below and grab it via Slow Roast Records.

Whether it’s a new mix, a live set, a merch drop or a killer new original, they never disappoint. Today the dynamic duo return with a brand new single in the form on ‘Monkey Biz.’

The track is a raucous and wild banger that’s built around a monkey sample. “I was in Miami at Craze’s spot and he had monkey YouTube sample he was messing with. We did some intense research and learned that believe it or not monkeys like bananas! When we made this discovery we knew we had to expose it. THE WORLD NEEDED TO KNOW,” Four Color Zack tells us. 2¢’s quest to bring truth to the world includes a freaked primate sample, familiar, albeit heavily processed vocals, hip-swaying percussion and futurustic bass. It’s a dizzying display that’ll have you beating your chest and getting animalistic.

When asked what they want listeners to get out of this one Zack simply replied, “Adopt a monkey.” While FUXWITHIT doesn’t promote the ownership of exotic animals, we can confirm that this shit is in fact bananas.

Adding to list of legends to grace the FUXWITHIT Guest Mix series is Four Color Zack. If somehow you’re unfamiliar, you better get acquainted. After making major waves in DJ scene in Seattle, Zack exploded onto the global stage after becoming the World Champion at Red Bull 3style in 2012. He’s made some of your favourite DJ edits including that Lion King x ‘Core’ edit that became a staple on RL Grime’s tour. As half of 2¢ alongside Craze, he’s helped to remind the world that Good DJing Is Important and dropped a slew of banging originals. We’ve been fans of his work for years so it’s only right we connected with Four Color Zack for an exclusive guest mix + interview. The mix explores an array of genres from club and house, to in your face rap and trap. Plus flexes his technical skills with scratches, clever transitions and mash-ups. In the interview we discuss his wildest DJ gig, his edit game, 2¢, and much more. Dive in below.

How was the Dominican Republic? Any major highlights from Holy Ship Wrecked?

Holy Ship parties are always wild. The following is so dedicated. Plus when you get that many artists together to hang for the week stuff really jumps off. The Chris Lake sunrise set on the beach was a moment. Seeing Armand Van Helden play was all time for me.

… it was a giant mess. I can’t believe some of the stuff we saw. True performance art.

You’ve played around the world for a multitude of events, what’s the weirdest event/party you have ever played and why?

We used to do a party called ‘Rords Of The Froor’. It was a pro/am costumed drunken b-boy battle. That means costumes mandatory for all, extremely amateur b-boys would get paired up with extremely pro ones and those teams would all battle each other through the night. There was a whole drinking competition element to it and a culture around the battle theme… it was a giant mess. I can’t believe some of the stuff we saw. True performance art.

You’ve become well known for your edits. What’s your favorite edit of all time and what’s the most absurd edit you’ve ever made?

The Lion King x ‘Core’ one comes to mind. Made it for the first Mad Decent Boat Party way back when but it was still kicking. When RL made it a part of his tour with the stage lift I think that’s when my hat was thrown in the air like a Bobby Shmurda gif. As far as most absurd… idk, I gotta dig around in the archives… Maybe I’ll post a ‘stupidest edits of all time’ pack.

Of course a gang of 2¢ stuff too, a new single there called ‘Monkey Biz’ and a remix pack for ‘Rebel.’ Plus a ton of clothing cause that don’t stop.

What can fans expect from you in terms of releases this year?

Bunch of tunes, edit packs, mixtapes, live sets… Have a remix I’m really hyped on for Steven A Clark that drops probably around the time this goes live. Of course a gang of 2¢ stuff too, a new single there called ‘Monkey Biz’ and a remix pack for ‘Rebel.’ Plus a ton of clothing cause that don’t stop.

You seem to be super on the pulse in terms of the underground and what’s next. What’s exciting you musically lately?

IDK about on the pulse, just pay attention to a ton of stuff. I’ve been listening to the new AMTRAC tunes, the new Grandtheft x Yung Tory, Hanni El Khatib… Guapdad, Idles… some lo fi cry dance stuff like Antonio Williams & Kerry McCoy… For bass stuff of course Jawns, Knock2, X&G, Jon Casey… As I write this I’m bumping to the old self titled Tigers Jaw album.. so pretty all over the place old and new. From D&B to R&B ()

normalizing something mediocre by shrugging and saying ‘well that’s the way the game is’ seems so unsatisfying. It seems to me that if it makes you happy you should pour yourself into it.

You’ve been pretty vocal in your fight against mediocrity and wack trends over the years. Are there any new 2020 trends that are pissing you off?

TBH I’ve stopped letting the mediocre stuff get to me BUT that doesn’t mean it’s not still all over the place. The reality is not everyone cares (maybe I should say obsesses) about their creative surroundings as much as others. I’m not yucking anyones yums, but normalizing something mediocre by shrugging and saying ‘well that’s the way the game is’ seems so unsatisfying. It seems to me that if it makes you happy you should pour yourself into it.

The 2¢ merch has become a symbol in the culture and a powerful message that a lot of artists and fans have gotten behind. Was this your initial goal when coming up with “Good DJing Is Important?” Did you expect it to be as impactful as it has been?

Pretty much yeah haha. It’s no ‘Just Do It’ but I’ll take it.

Can we expect 2¢ Part 5 coming soon?

For sure, we got a lot bubbling but its always toward the top of the list. Best guess.. give it a couple months. Gonna slap tho that I can assure.

Ideas are like little mosquitoes in your room buzzing around at night. You know they are there somewhere.. and if you’re all uptight freaking out looking for them they are gonna be elusive, but if you just be open to the your peripherals you’ll spot em.

You mentioned in you interview with Willy Joy that if you have a stupid or funny idea, you should write it down because it may be gold. Have you had any of these ideas recently that have panned out to be something special?

I think MOST of my ideas comes that way. Just goofing around with different perspectives on stuff. Most trick mixes definitely come that way. Designs too. Ideas are like little mosquitoes in your room buzzing around at night. You know they are there somewhere.. and if you’re all uptight freaking out looking for them they are gonna be elusive, but if you just be open to the your peripherals you’ll spot em.

In addition do DJing and producing you also run your own clothing brand and store Can’t Blame The Youth. How do you split your time between the different sides? Do you find they compliment each other in any ways?

No real secret to the time split just a heavy workload. I jump back and forth based on which fire gotta be put out first. I guess the overlap is that I get to listen to a ton of stuff while I’m designing, but I usually am just bumping old non-DJ related stuff at that point anyway.

Tell us about the mix. Where are you taking us with this one? If this were a movie, what would the tagline be?

Waynes World always seemed to have covered it with “You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll hurl”. Hopefully the hurling will be turn up related.

Since its inception, Craze and Four Color Zack’s 2¢ project has been all about fucking up the status quo. Whether that’s raising the bar around what DJ sets and mixes should sound like, hating on lame producers and meaningless industry lists, or disrespecting the clown of a President currently in office, the duo never fail to challenge listeners.

Their latest release keeps that same energy. Aptly titled ‘Rebel,’ this one is half banger, half call to action. Opening with looped underground rap vocals that envelope into “the jig is up, you can rebel, if you big enough,” this one doesn’t hold back. Splicing in “you can rebel,” and “too many of us are frustrated” makes this an anthem primed for the times. Add in some hard-hitting trap drops and the track further exemplifies their ability to drive home a point while still keeping things bumping. The break strips back the energy and replaces it with a powerful speech against mediocrity and ignorance. The beat builds perfectly in time with the pace of the speech before the familiar vocal sample and fierce trap energy return to incite a riot for the finale. Bump this anthem and ‘Rebel’ against the mediocre.

That’s right, the most raw, ruthless and incredible mix series has returned. For part 4 they double-down on everything we’ve come to love and expect from two of the greatest to ever hop on the decks. From an all out assault on mumble rap and the mediocrity in hip-hop, to shitting on “EDM Tony Robbins,” who post more motivational quotes than music and much more. Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chapelle, and 2¢ favorite George Carlin tie the project together with skits that show the parallels between the comedy and DJ worlds. It’s yet another strong commentary that’s as thought provoking as it is technically impressive. Don’t get it twisted though it’s not all seriousness. I mean there’s a whole routine dedicated to booty play. Oh and you know they had to slap Trump. Listen to ‘2¢ PT 4’ below and marvel at Craze & Zack’s genius.

Craze and Four Color Zack are two of the best DJs in the world. With a slew of championships (Red Bull 3Style, DMC) to their names, it’s undebatable. When they came together to form 2¢ their collective power increased exponentially. Since combining their efforts they’ve released some of the most impressive and impactful DJ mixes to date. Their 2¢ mix series not only flaunts their talent and showcases dope music but provides a level social commentary never before seen in the realm of DJing: from dissing DJ Mag’s antiquated and laughable Top 100 list, to addressing police brutality, denouncing the President and highlighting the repetitive nature of some genres. While they’re proven masters behind the decks, they’ve also been consistently honing their skills behind the boards. Making Change proved their strength and chemistry with four stellar tracks.

After taking some time off from releasing new tunes, we’re proud to announce that 2¢ are back! Today we have the pleasure of premiering their massive new single ‘Straight To The Point.’ It’s a no-nonsense banger that packs the rawness of early TNGHT records with a 2017 twist. It’s an enigma of a track that somehow manages to be ice cold and straight flames all at once. Packing a consistent progression, it takes a ton of unique twists and turns. The first drop is stripped down, minimalistic and ballistic. The second fattens things up with some exotic elements that are stretched and switched up. Just when you think it’s about to ride out, it comes back with a knockout punch to cap things off perfectly.

Four Color Zack provided a little bit of insight on the track and what’s next saying, “This was one of a few tunes that came out of a recent practice session. We’ve got a gang of exciting shows coming up that we’ve made some wild stuff for, so keep an eye out and we’ll tell you right now: you’re gonna want to come experience these shows.”

Stream ‘Straight To The Point’ below and be sure to grab the free download.

The first half has them selecting, introducing, playing and plugging new music. Trust me there’s some serious under the radar gems in here (see Ivy Lab, It Hz and that 2¢ preview). The second half has Craze taking the reins for an exclusive mix (obviously it’s incredible). Capping things off comes a throwback, the Gang Starr classic ‘Code of the Streets’.
