 Originally the song was named ‘Charged Up’ then I added the vocal samples in. Now how the “OG” and “Hanging with the Killas” vocals came about, is really that I’ve been producing for about 14 years, and the message is meant to be a confidence booster. I’m lowkey, humble, but also I know that I got the sauce. I feel like I can hang/keep up with the best! Not on any arrogant vibes, I just believe in my art and myself 110%.”

‘OG’ is arguably PRYZMS’ best work to date, mixing OG trap influences with forward-thinking bass for an incredible anthem. Cerdin is always open to innovation and his new single takes the concept to new levels. Sweeping atmospheres and delicate keys drift beneath creating a divine mystique. Accelerating drums, rising sirens, and bent vocal tones build to an explosive release. The first drop is chaotic, heart-racing, and banging, without feeling overwhelming. There’s a sense of masterfully controller chaos that keeps you on your toes while maintaining an off-kilter groove. Cerdin offers a brief respite as the ghostly vocal bends drift in once more before bringing a shocking yet exhilerating final drop. I’m in a very inspired spot with producing right now where I’m listening to so much, and trying to translate things I like about different subgenres and sound styles into one cohesive work. This track is the first finished product of this ‘research and development’ period I’ve entered where I’m just trying anything and everything regardless of what the Cerdin ‘brand’ might be to some people. If you’ve been longing for the golden era of electronic trap music – a time when tracks were simpler, more heavily rap-inspired, and straight-up slapped,  then we’ve got something special for you. ‘We Go Harder’ sees Buzz Junior taking trap back to its roots in all the right ways. ‘I Ain’t Playin’ is a certified bop that’s at home motivating you through a tough break-up or tearing up the dancefloor. It’s a groove-filled anthem that mixes elements of Haan808’s bass-leaning signature style with hints of UKG for a fresh feel.  The impassioned vocals loop for an infectious and emotive impact. The introduction combines lush pads, crisp percussion, and airy synths for a dreamy vibe. Hitting listeners with a wild switch-up, the track ups its energy with dancey drum programming, pulsing low-end, ghostly vocal chops, and commanding melodies. 

After watching Skrillex, Four Tet & Fred again.. play they are set at Coachella live stream, all the songs had crazy switch ups and all the songs had such a groove to me. It also looked like they were just having a jam, nothing planned—big inspo for this song. I approached the song the same way. No intention just see what happens.  I enjoyed making something a bit more upbeat than usual. There is a lot of sound design in this track for me – Haan808

Despite being named after Kazantzakis’ girlfriend, don’t expect a love song. ‘LIZA’ is as ruthless and gritty as they come. Ghostly pitched-down rap vocals create a grimy yet catchy pull that sets the tone. Haunting undertones give way to a minimal yet beastly drop fusing drill-inspired 808 slides, crisp percussion, and a head-nodding melody. Flipping the script comes a massive electro-house-inspired break and build that’s primed for festivals before swerving back into murkiness. The final drop enhances the bounce with pounding bass while injecting DnB drum breaks and fierce growls for some added grain. If you’re a fan of trap and Kazantzakis isn’t already on your radar, you need to stop sleeping.

I was browsing through my SoundCloud likes and saw some IMANU tracks, so they were the starting point of my production with some electro-inspired breakdown. As always I started with the drop first then break-down and intro-outro. Decided to add some Memphis rap acapella too. I connected with Kavi a few years ago when we were on a compilation together and I was playing DROPWIZZ – ENCRYPT in my sets pretty regularly. We talked about maybe making something together so I sent some IDs and UKting was born. – Buzz Junior

As Andy aka Buzz Junior said this tune came to be after we both released tracks on a compilation. I’ve known of him for quite some time before but the comp really got us connected. He makes some stellar trap tunes and is a super chill and humble dude, really a pleasure to work with him.
