]]> The Goldie Awards are back. A-Trak‘s epic DJ and producer battle is going digital. With events and travel locked down, the competition is headed to Fool’s Gold’s Twitch. Taking place on February 19, 20, and 27 we’ll see some of the best in the world competing on the live stream. This year is an invitational battle with the contestants being hand-picked by A-Trak. The event will feature 8 DJs and 8 producers with A-Trak, Craze, Decap, Uniiqu3, and Baauer serving as judges. The full list of competitors is yet to be fully announced but we’ve already seen DJ Ride & Tsuruda publicly state they will be competing. We’ll be keeping a close eye out for more details. But it’s guaranteed to be a can’t miss 3-night affair. See you in the chat!

  • Feb. 19 – DJ Battle Semi Finals
  • Feb. 20 – Producer Battle Semi Finals

]]> The Goldie Awards are back! Last year A-Trak took doing it for the culture to new heights by creating a brand new producer and beat battle known as the Goldie Awards. The event brought together some of the best DJs and up-and-coming producers in the world for a night unlike any other, and saw Miles Medina and Holly taking home the gold in the DJ and beat battles respectively.

Whether you’re a DJ looking to show off your skills, a producer hungry to make a name for yourself, or a fan who just craves battle culture, the Goldies are a can’t miss! The second annual event will be going down at Brooklyn Steel on Nov. 8. This year’s judges include legends like: Mark Ronson, Just Blaze, Craze, Murda Beatz, El-P, Anna Lunoe, Boys Noize and Venus X. It will also be co-hosted by Desus Nice and Nedeska Alexis. The prizes are no joke either. The beat battle winner will land a release on Fool’s Gold Records while the DJ winner gets a slot at Fool’s Gold Day Off.
