Fresh off an official remix for RL Grime, Cozway is back with a new release on Mad Decent’s Good Enuff. ‘Java’ is a transportational track that will sweep you away to the Indonesian Island of Java. The song was inspired by Cozway’s upbringing in Singapore, “Singapore is a melting pot of South East Asian cultures. Indonesian folklore specifically has always stuck out to me because it’s so unique and mystical,” says Cozway. Channeling that unique and mystical energy, ‘Java’ is an audio adventure. It’s wandering through an ancient civilization, hiking through lush mountains and diving headfirst off of waterfalls, all wrapped into one.

“When I was writing this track the lead reminded me of something from that culture (Javanese) so I built the rest of it around that trying to stay true to it. I even sampled lava flowing and traditional Indonesian kettle gongs,” Cozway explains. It’s that attention to detail and ability to build off a specific theme that makes Cozway’s music so powerful and immersive. Don’t let the beauty and mystique mislead you though, this is still a trap banger.

If bass music is getting saturated with too much of the same for your liking, Topi needs to be on your radar. While the Finnish producer hasn’t been around for too long, the quality and diversity of his releases are unmatched. This talent has gotten the attention of bass music’s biggest labels, too, with the likes of Never Say Die, Monstercat, and Shred Collective frequently releasing Topi’s music. His unique take on bass puts his tracks in a variety of ranges such as bass house, dubstep, and drum & bass, sometimes all together in the same song.

Topi’s skills are on full display with his latest release titled ‘Not This Spot,’ out now on Good Enuff. His distinct metallic synths and crunchy bass is more rampant than ever in his newest track, with classic D&B drums also shining in the background. Breaking barriers between genres as he always does, Topi continues to impress in ‘Not This Spot’. Daruma Connects With Good Enuff For Incredible New Compilation

Daruma has been consistently putting out stellar releases and continually working to break new talent. It seems their consistency has caught the eye of Mad Decent’s Good Enuff label, as the two have just joined forces for an incredible 5 track EP. Ocular & Tonton’s ‘Drifting Apart,’ opens the project with a stunning vibey soundscape that feels like sunset lounging in a hammock. Havok Roth & AIRWAV kick things up a notch with ‘Trust Issues,’ a tune that is as rich with feels as it is grittiness. Switching things up once more comes MYRNE & Awoltalks’s future bass cut ‘I Know’. It’s upbeat, sultry and perfect for summer. ‘Mystic’ is a clear standout. It’s the type of track that stops you in tracks, makes you freeze and just marvel at its insanity. Time stops. Everything around you doesn’t exist any longer. You’re in a different dimension and despite its darkness, you don’t want to escape. Rounding out the compilation is Daruma co-founder Andrew Luce‘s adventurous release ‘Trouble’. Mad Decent’s Good Enuff sub-label is teaming up with one of the best collectives out in Daruma for a collaborative compilation that’s due out May 17th. Building excitement for the release comes a new track from Daruma co-founder and FUXWITHIT favourite Andrew Luce. ‘Trouble’ is an auditory expedition that’s ever evolving. It’s hypnotic and uplifting, brooding and brutal, powerful and angelic, and everything in between. Despite setting the bar high, Andrew Luce continues to get better with each release.
