‘Rampage’ is intended to make the listener go through exactly that – its bassline, serrated synths, and catchy one-liner all feature their own sense of distortion, which easily signify how twisted, chaotic, and rage-inducing the tune itself is. The lyrics themselves don’t feature more outside of the line: “Bitch I’m on a rampage, mask on my damn face“; the former half of said phrase gets chopped, warped and repeated relentlessly, almost as if it’s a sort of intended target, as you hear it throughout a large portion of the song. It can go one of two ways: hyping you up to take on whatever stands in your way, or anticipating the worst, not knowing what’s to come.
