Grab your dancing shoes and prepare for this heater because Super Future is about to rock your world. His new remix for GRiZ’s track with Wreckno, ‘Medusa’ is officially out now. Released 4 months ago, GRiZ amazed his audience with another massive track. Gaining a bunch of listeners, he decided to release a full remix EP. Full of some of your favorite artists.

What makes Super Future’s remix stand out is his honoring of the dubstep genre through his sound design and drum programming. Not to mention the trippy arrangement. His past work says it all. Creating a new world for himself, he’s managed to gain a solid fanbase through his years of crafting fresh new bass music. Every release holds something unique and special. And he’s taking no prisoners with this new remix.

Showing no mercy, the track already pops off in the best ways possible. Introducing the vocal accompanied by a filthy and distorted bass line, it goes together smoothly with his organic drum pattern. Honoring the original, but with a twist. And once the chorus drops, it knocks you back, creating a feeling of shock and awe.

The rhythms Super Future incorporates always makes a huge difference. Making any bass lover go nuts wherever they are. The second drop is no joke either. Throwing in some new elements and patterns elevates the track by a ton. Keeping an addicting atmosphere for many to adore.

Super Future is an artist you want to pay attention to. He’s next on the come up of the underground. Pushing different frequencies and elements is one way he’ll gain your respect and love for his work. We’re excited to see and hear what he brings next. Go support him by streaming the remix below.

As a veteran in the scene who continues to put out quality material on a regular basis, it’s hard not to love GRiZ.
Now returning to Deadbeats with the sixth instalment of the aforementioned series, GRiZ has seemingly outdone himself once more. Teaming up with Jauz on ‘No Doubt,’ the two icons have created an anthem that will transport you back an entire decade, delivering wubs and wobbles capable of destroying the strongest of foundations. It’s always fun to hear an exquisite take on old-fashioned dubstep with modern sound design, and GRiZ and Jauz have executed to a tee. Also part of Bangers[6].Zip are a collaboration with Blunts & Blondes that is equally a wonky as the opening track, in addition to a heavier yet still fun solo piece titled ‘Brain Fuzz.’

More GRiZ. What more could one want? Dive in below.

Two of the biggest kings of the LGBTQ community in the EDM scene, the saxophone wielding maestro Griz, and quite possibly the sassiest man on the face of the planet, Wreckno, have hand-crafted a song that is just too good to miss. When the world around us is dark, what could possibly be better than a track that shoots sonic rainbows out of any sound system it graces with its presence? The piece in question is ‘Medusa’, and it’s a bop that will surely be an anthem for years to come.

“Word up it’s the anthem, put your fucking hands up, smiling cause I’m young, rich, gay and I’m handsome” are the opening vocals of this immensely spicy piece, right before you’re greeted by the absolutely delicious sub bass that caresses every crevice of your being. The blending of Wreckno’s love for hip-hop stylings and Griz’s longstanding attention to detail in all facets of his production creates a piece that makes medical waivers a necessity for chronic dislocated hipbones from dropping it low. Flaunting an infectious amount of movement and swing, ‘Medusa’ may turn to bigots to stone, but your feet will be set completely ablaze as the beat takes control. A fantastic gift to the LGBTQ during pride month, this should be an unmistakable anthem for years upon years to come. Check it out for yourself below!

With his future funk inspired sound, GRiZ’s live sets are just as stunning as his track releases. Delivering a fusion of unique instrumentals which range from the saxophone to energetic guitar chords, the Denver based producer has just released his groovy new single ‘Could You.’ For those who know GRiZ well enough, this one is about to funk up the dance floor.

With a powerful guitar riff aligned with seducing vocals, a bubbly beat begins to lead the single into a tech house inspired heater. Through the use of drum claps and cutting edge instrumentals, GRiZ’s reverberating bass undeniably keep his audience moving all night long. As GRiZ goes even deeper into the underground vibes, subtle bass chords and a hint of distortion really convince listeners that they could dance with GRiZ no matter what genre he produces. Celebrating his debut on Night Bass, this track was undoubtedly a success to all those craving some tech-house with a side of funk.

Although the initial clash of genres might first be received with disillusion, the track itself is truly a testament to the versatility of these two veteran producers.

While it typically takes a few weeks for the stream of remixes to trickle through the nooks and crannies of SoundCloud’s thriving underground audience, a tune such as ‘Griztronics’ was certain to receive a stampede of attention. Taking the behemoth of a collaboration one notch further, YDG untethered a vigorous treatment to the track just last week, which features subtle permutations in cadence and a wobbly bassline enhancement giving the track a flavor of its own.

Check out the YDG Edit of ‘Griztronics’ out now below!

Michigan based GriZ continues his powerhouse series Bangers via Deadbeats. Unveiling another three track EP, this one hits much heavier than the first installment while staying true to the funk sound we all have come to know GriZ for. Proving his dexterity and complexity, it also includes fan favorite and perhaps most anticipated ‘Griztronics,’ aptly named for a collaboration with Subtronics.

First being premiered at Electric Forest, ‘Griztronics’ hits a little differently, containing a trap and bass convolution. Exceeding 150k plays on SoundCloud, this may be the anthem for the remaining festival season. ‘Freak The Method’ falls back to the future funk sound we are familiar with hearing. An infusion of bass and soul that provides a fervent hook created by GriZ himself. Supported by a groovy bass line and a live like drum complexity, this track causes a natural sway for listeners. The synths only add to the layers and enhance to intermittent verses that are tossed in throughout the drops. ‘Push The Vibe’ takes the to the next level with a much quicker paced track and displays an amusing vocal pattern. The percussive elements of the final track present high levels of energy and ends with a dose of trap on the final drop.

An unexpected release through Deadbeats has me itching for more of this heavier based sound of GriZ and increases the levels of interest for future installments of this series.

Master saxophonist GRiZ made waves last year with his album Good Will Prevail, and has breathed further life into it with a full remix album! Good Will Continue – A Remix Album starts off with a heavy take on the album opener ‘Wicked‘, by LA’s Dirty Audio!

He picks up the pace on the original, and flips the psychedelic electro-soul tune into a crunchy dubstep banger, with the original’s sultry sax tones intermittent throughout. These are a complete contrast in pitch to the low-to-the-ground, electro-inspired synths of each drop. Dirty Audio himself said that he had “…fun remixing the real instruments that GRiZ uses in his music.” Eric Krasno‘s first verse is also present, and paints some colourful imagery onto the track.

The entire remix album features a remix for each track, done in the same order to the original album. Check it out on your favourite music platform!
