]]> Now this is something I wasn’t expecting! Underground legend MURS teamed up with Curtiss King for the free $hut Your Trap EP. Best known for his collaborations with 9th Wonder, hearing MURS over Trap beats is interesting to say the least. MURS stays to true to himself dropping mature, intelligent and thought provoking bars he’s known for. Every track knocks and MURS lyrical abilities are never up for questioning. On Mo$ Def he showcases his wordplay skills, “She got a Fat Booty, I’m so Ecstatic, She got that New World Water, what’s the Mathematics? True Magic, She newly Tatted”. That’s just one example of killer bars featured on this tape. Even if you’re not a fan of conscious or lyrical rap it’s worth peeping for the beats alone.
