Today, we’re throwing it back to 2012 when Philly native Meek Mill dropped his debut album Dreams and Nightmares. The track we’re revisiting is the opening song of the same name and it has quickly become one of the most revered intros in the last couple of years. Meek is known for his energy and effortless flow but this track ups the ante tenfold. This track features a beautiful piano melody and a triumphant build even without the standard rap drums. The beat combined with Meek’s ferocious flow and high energy sets the tone for the remainder of the album. Check it out below.
