With his partner Ivan Jackson (Brasstracks) on the boards, it’s truly starting to seem like they can’t miss. On the intro of their latest release S’natra claims he’s been trying to find a balance. ‘Off Key’ is just that. The perfect balance of boom-bap and trap influences fused together. It charts S’natra hustle, drive and focus. It’s a snapshot of his life that’s delivered in a conversational way that’ll have you looking to dive deeper. S’natra Is Back With ‘Offerings’

If you’re a rap fan and you’re not following S’natra, you’re fucking up. The Harlem emcee has been steadily impressing us for over year. With Brasstrack’s Ivan Jackson pretty much acting as his exclusive producer, he’s yet to release anything that’s less than great (see ‘Power,’ ‘Opposite Ways’ & ‘Tonight Freestyle’). ‘Offerings’ keeps the consistency flowing. The first verse mixes braggadocios bars with dope wordplay “Or jumping like VC back in two thou, want a hook from me, ey you got two thou? Can’t say I’m acting brand new now, who work hard as me, less than a few now.” An instrumental break leads into a stripped down beat that has S’natra attacking with a rapid fire flow. The verse closes with S’natra stressing whether he’ll make it out but the bars are cut short with a gun shot. It’s an impactful end that speaks volumes even with the verse remaining unfinished. S’natra Proves Staying ‘Power’ With Another Stellar Release

S’natra has quickly become one of our favourite up-and-coming rappers in the game. With Brasstracks’ Ivan Jackson on the beats, it seems the pair can do no wrong. ‘Power’ is another stellar release from the two. The track really sees S’natra coming into his own, honing a peak level of swagger and confidence with bars like, “power, power tripping, labels don’t know what to do no more that power switching, flip the game up on this new rap, yeah this power’s different, I might just slap an A&R, yeah I’m ready for business…” With the beat punched up and the bars repeated, S’natra really drives things home. Trust us when we tell you this Harlem native is the future.

S’natra’s Builds Hype With ‘Tonight Freestyle’

Harlem’s own S’natra is one of the most promising rappers out. As he gears up for his for his upcoming project, he dropped a stellar freestyle to show off his lyrical skills. ‘Tonight’ is produced by S’natra along with frequent collaborator Ivan Jackson of Brasstracks. The beat is stripped down and soulful giving it a golden era feel. S’natra lays down two verses that are ripe with clever wordplay that commands replays. The second verse really stands out with some stellar bars that play on Complex’s Everyday Struggle, “Struggle everyday, back to the wall not back to Nadeska, ever since I dropped out said fuck the academic route, everybody trying to push my buttons (buddens) like they figured out…” Check ‘Tonight Freestyle’ below and look out for S’natra’s upcoming project.

Anytime the two get together you know it’s going to be great and this is no exception. Opening with a smooth beat, ‘Can’t See Me’ allows S’natra’s raps to be the focal point. With some clever wordplay around Saved by the Bell, you can’t help but love it. As the first verse closes, the beat builds with the hook, creating a triumphant wave. They smooth things out for the second verse to return the focus to his flow and bars. The craftsmanship is clear.
