Keys N Krates, Juicy J, Chip, & Marbl Create An ‘Original Classic’ Together

There has never been better news than this: Keys N Krates is about to drop a new album. And with their announcement, they teamed up with legends Juicy J, Chip, and Marbl for the title track ‘Original Classic.’ The trio has been deviating from trap for years, consistently dropping groovy beat tapes, albums, and flip packs. Needless to say, a tune like ‘Original Classic’ wasn’t unexpected, and certainly didn’t disappoint.

We love taking unlikely people, and putting them on unlikely beats while making the whole thing feel very organically like its own vibe. Jazzy voiced wavy chords, 808s, eerie strings, Afro-Brazillian rhythms; with Juicy J, Chip, and Marbl going crazy but sitting in a hypnotic pocket that feels driving and timeless.

We can always count on Keys N Krates to bring something fresh into the scene, but also create something that’ll never go stale. If you explore their discography, each track is still replayable to this day. So the album title, Original Classic, is well-fitting. With tracks you can always count on putting you in a good mood, ‘Original Classic’ doesn’t differ. The track is the perfect end to the summer, topped off with smooth rhymes and a sexy, danceable beat.

First released on the former’s Layers album, ‘Wait A Minute’ is a perfect track to bridge two heavy hitting drops in clubs and festivals, with both vocalists laying down scorching sections. TroyBoi seized this opportunity to give the vocal-driven track its own quintessential Troy bounce, eliminating the need to mix it with another track to set crowds into a frenzy. Utilizing the original vocals, the Miami-based king adds his usual crisp rolling percussion and crunchy yet groovy synths to turn ‘Wait A Minute’ into a typical TroyBoi banger. Don’t miss it below.

Yogi has a knack for making bangers with high profile artists (see ‘Burial’ & ‘Blow You Up’). Today he expands that formula tapping 3 6 Mafia’s Juicy J and adding in FUXWITHIT favorite Alexander Lewis. Juicy J comes through with unapologetic raps that fit perfectly over the slapping beat. Leak Alert: Three New Drake Tracks Just Hit the Net

Here we go. Drake’s VFT6 announcement is imminent and as we get closer to a hot summer, three of the boy’s tracks just leaked. The first, ‘Go Out Tonight‘ is a somber joint which features Drake singing to all the single ladies as he encourages them to go out and enjoy the night. ‘Tryna Fuck‘ is the new strip club anthem featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Juicy J, while ‘On a Wave‘ features Tinashe and Drake over a slowed down reggae rhythm. We’ll update you on what comes of all this as the news becomes available.
