Khamsin Soars With New Single ‘Led By The Sun’

French producer Khamsin has done it again! His latest new single ‘Led By The Sun’ is out now on San Holo’s bitbird. But that’s not the only piece of special news. Singer/songwriter duo Saavan have also joined in on the fun to express their breathtaking vocals to accompany the song. If you haven’t heard of Khamsin, then we highly suggest checking out his past work. From releasing stunning remixes of Major Lazor, Jai Wolf , to collaborating with KRANE and Kidswaste, this is a musician that knows how to target multiple styles.

However, this isn’t his first trip to bitbird. He first made his debut in May by releasing his single ‘Over’ that surprised and pleased his listeners. Now he’s back with a song that will for sure melt the hearts of many. This is what ‘Khamsin’ had to say to describe his latest piece.

Led By The Sun, as it fits into the narrative of the full record, is still in the opening phase of discovery and excitement but as it ends, the negative repercussions begin to show themselves. This song is meant to inspire people to chase their dreams no matter what happens along the way.

Khamsin Joins bitbird With Poignant Single, ‘Over’

As one of the leading forces behind innovative future bass over the last few years, Khamsin has set a high standard for himself by consistently pushing a refreshing sound, both with his solo project and as part of the French super-group Slow Hours. Setting such a standard can often have an impact on one’s musical output, which appears to have been the case with Khamsin, who hadn’t released an official original since 2018. However, that drought has come to an end, as Khamsin has recently joined the bitbird family and is now ready to make his mark on the imprint with ‘Over.’

After a single listen of ‘Over,’ one will immediately recognize Khamsin’s contribution to Slow Hours while also getting insight into his growth as an artist. The introduction is blissful and orchestral, painting an ethereal soundscape with its angelic aura. A steady build leads listeners to a drop-like section characterized by the same textures of the opening, but with snappy percussion driving the energy behind the change of pace. The second half of the track follows the same recipe, but Khamsin adds a touch of spice to the mix to up the euphoria factor by a few notches. Lyricless but impactful, ‘Over’ showcases Khamsin at his best. Don’t miss it below.

Today, Toronto based producer Muneshine linked up with Khamsin to drop their Future flip. This flip really shows how well both of these cats can produce.
