This past and even current year has been a huge struggle for all of us. Overcoming obstacles and inner battles were some of our toughest challenges yet. But KRANE and his newest project, Getting Better are the perfect examples of why we should keep on fighting and striving for peace. Reading his post on Twitter about the project, he explains his own war of emotions and internal conflicts. But for him to make this next big step and staying true to his work makes this album one of the most heartfelt works this year. And with the help of Boombox Cartel, Panama, B. Lewis and more, he’s broken through walls of doubt and fear to the highest degree. Ending up with a gorgeous result.

Getting Better knows how to keep your mind and soul at ease. Incorporating his lush and highly admired integrity and creativity has made this journey simply unforgettable. It’s been a while since we’ve heard from KRANE and Boombox Cartel. But we’re excited to announce they’re back and better than ever. Their new single ‘All Again’ is out now on all streaming platforms. These trap pioneers are no strangers when it comes to emotional atmospheres and heavy sound design. They both know how to tap into the hearts and souls of their listeners. And to see them come together for a long-awaited piece is exciting.

‘All Again’ is a love letter and honoring of emotional music in general. The balance between both styles is clear and received nicely. From the euphoric introduction, to the dreamy chorus consisting of classic future bass chords to define their friendship through sound. The journey keeps the listener invested and one with the melodies and rhythm. A wonderful introduction back into the spotlight from these two. This is a track many will adore and have on repeat.

KRANE Returns With Several Incredible New Tracks

Oakland, California’s KRANE has been a mainstay on FUXWITHIT for the past five years. We fell in love with his music well before he had and an A in his name, and he’s continued to impress on a contant basis. If you love KRANE as much as we do, today is your lucky day cause he just dropped a stack of incredible new tracks. Over the past few days he’s unleashed 7 tracks on his sidetracks account, 8 total in the last month. Every single one is pure gold but there are a few standouts that have us really excited.

First up is ‘Onward’ an energetic brass-infused bop that feels like it may have received an assist from the legends Brasstracks. ‘High Dive’ is actually a 2017 collab with Jupe that still sounds fresh and fun. ‘Flora’ takes things to another level combining exotic soundscapes with just right amount of knock and an emotional undercurrent. KRANE Drops Soothing ‘Tell Me Why’ Ahead Of Upcoming Album

It has been a hot minute since we last heard from KRANE. The Oakland-based producer known for coming up during the golden days of SoundCloud has been on a short hiatus this calendar year, slowly rebuilding his repertoire of gems to eventually share to the masses.

It’s been about two years since the release of his widely praised Fallout album, and now KRANE looks to exceed the standard he has set for himself with a follow-up body of work, coming soon on Dim Mak.

Earlier this week, the first single from the upcoming album dropped and gives fans a smooth introduction to what lies ahead. Titled ‘Tell Me Why’ and featuring vocals from Malika, this first single is an ethereal opening showcasing KRANE’s ability to make a truly beautiful piece. Not your typical KRANE banger, ‘Tell Me Why’ uses soothing melodies and calming piano riffs to accentuate Malika’s angelic voice. Additional vocal chops and a multitude of musical layers give ‘Tell Me Why’ a luscious feel from start to finish. Don’t miss it below.

Following closely in the wake of its predecessor comes the Deluxe Edition of Alexander Lewis’s OMNI. EP. As a multi-talented artist, producer and trombonist the project illustrates one of the first deliberate efforts of a modern electronic producer to combine trap, hip-hop, & jazz all within one roof. The original release included features from vocalists Nick Row, MadeinTYO, William $, S’natra, BXRBER and Armani White, as well as a funkier tune with iconic two-man band Brasstracks.

KRANE Releases Another Volume Of His ‘SESSIONS’

The wicked SESSIONS series from KRANE continues in strength this week as he delivers the second volume to his fanbase. A forward-thinking concept that encourages new and rising producers to work alongside him without the restraints of profile or stature, there are 8 tracks on offer with this collection.

A striking blend of future bass and electronic beats, there are some gems scattered within the tracklist. Awoltalk appears on the opening ‘Rift’ whilst Lemay brings a kick to ‘Going Back.’ We also love ‘Nothing To Lose’ with Jupom and the epic ‘Changes’ with Max Styler – featuring GØLDN.

KRANE says of the project: “SESSIONS, is a way for me to cultivate a community of producers to collaborate on tracks with. It’s not about the genre, follower numbers or brand. It’s about the music, and featuring producers on the come-up that few people have heard of, but have the potential to rise. It’s also a way for me to get back to my roots, remain experimental and just focus on the music and have fun.”

KRANE’s New Album ‘Fallout’ Has Arrived

KRANE has been a FUXWITHIT favorite since well before he had the A in his name. His ability to move between devastating trap and vibrant future bass is matched by few in the industry. This knack is what is on clear display throughout his latest album Fallout. The 10 track effort provides something for every type of KRANE fan. Looking for emotional future bass? See ‘Feel It,’ ‘Nobody But You,’ and ‘Titan.’ Trying to experience insane dark trap coupled with future feels? ‘Next World’ and ‘Forgotten’ are sure to quench that thirst. For me KRANE is best when he’s at his rawest. This is best exemplified on ‘PCP’ and ‘Hollow’. The former is an updated rendition of his previously released collaboration of the same name with B. Lewis. The additional vocals from Nick Row add a layer of dopeness I didn’t know was possible. The original was absolutely insane. This is absolutely insane². ‘Hollow’ sees KRANE colliding with Slumberjack for a match made in trap heaven. Wordly tones are combined with a cinematic build that’s topped off with actual film samples. Robin Williams from Good Morning, Vietnam to be precise. The clever sample gives way to battle cry that is nothing short of sinister. It’s 100 thousand robotic elephants crushing cities and shooting lazers from their eyes. Somehow softening things up, the track’s conclusion feels like a sunrise in a grassy valley. With the release KRANE stated, “FALLOUT is as much a celebration of where my sound is today as it is a recognition that I will leave part of it behind now that this album is in the wild. After putting together this collection, I know I cannot repeat it, and I have to say good bye to part of myself as a producer in pursuit of newness.” Where he’s at is pretty stellar but we can’t wait for what the future holds.

KRANE & Alexander Lewis redefine ‘Onset’

I really just wanted to move away from that and hopefully do justice to something I found to be really special and different.”

Sinjin Hawke‘s debut album, First Opus, has attracted many eyes (and ears) since its release – including the likes of Alexander Lewis and KRANE, who pay homage to one of the album’s biggest songs.

Whereas the original has more of a retro-trap-hybrid feel to it, this verison decides to go full trap. It takes things a bit slower, and delivers an amplified sense of triumph, which adds nicely to the trumpet fanfare heard throughout. What really makes the song stand out is its explosive moment near the end, where it reaches for the skies with its high-hitting synths and heavenly melody. ‘Onset’ is available for download – if you haven’t started your summer compilation, this would be a grand way to kick things off!

KRANE Shines Light On Future Talent With Sessions Volume 4

You never know where the next dope producer will come from. The post YouTube/Soundcloud era is inundated with access to so much dope up & coming talent it’s overwhelming sometimes.

Enter KRANE’s sessions. After making a name for himself through a prolific output of trap remixes, tracks and collabs, the Bay Area producer started a side project called Sessions specifically to feature collaborations with up & coming producers. By that point he had already worked heavyweights like Alexander Lewis, Ekali, (Grammy award winning) Brasstracks, Stooki Sound, Keys & Krates, Baauer & more.

Some producers might’ve just started focusing on working with bigger & bigger names but thankfully KRANE has chosen to lend a hand to up & coming producers out there through Sessions. The results have been some of the most consistent releases of the genre. Producers of any type and following can submit works in progress during the submission period. Those that make the cut get to work with KRANE to flesh out the track and a select few make it to the release.

The fourth volume includes high quality trap/future bass tracks like ‘Sakura’ with DNMO (pronounced Den-MO), ‘Palace’ with WYOMI & ‘Silencio’ with Oceans. But it also explores a more chillout/soulful vibe on ‘Outside’ with Laxcity featuring 17 year old vocalist Sherry W.

The process works. Few producers who’ve come up in the game have put this much energy into helping out the next generation.
