Igniting an absolute atom bomb of frequencies, Runnit stuns all with his debut EP, The Backtalk. An electrifying experience that will leave you shocked to the core. Not knowing what to do next, but to rewind and experience it all over again. The artist’s shining characteristics and signature style are displayed on many familiar levels while showcasing some major evolution to his sound. Groove-filled environments combined with inspirational outcomes create not only a memorable journey for the artist but his listeners as well. Giving fans what they’ve been waiting for while staying true to his vision of creating this music in general. To only have fun and not think so much about the industry standards. Be yourself and craft what you truly imagine.

But he wasn’t alone during this major process. Artists such as HerShe, Krilla, Scullion, and even Goodknight have all joined forces with Runnit to help elevate those timeless ideas. Creating a healthy blend of their styles, characteristics, and attitude to bring another veil of power to the EP’s vision. Unleashing a new type of warrior within each of them. Learning new tips, and tricks to take to their own works in the future. It’s a project such as this that really makes you smile and burst up with inspiration. So buckle up, because this five-track boost of fresh air will leave you speechless.

The Back Talk EP contains an aura of rebirth and a craving for success. From the first track to the last, you can tell how fluent the artist has grown with a huge upgrade in quality and tone. Everything you’ve come to love about the artist and more are portrayed beautifully in this set of gems. His craftsmanship of drum patterns and violent sound design truly stand out in such a shining fashion. Easily telling he took some high risks throughout the project. Showing a fearless drive for a wider and broader range of tonality. And his collaborators have done the same but through their own styles and whimsical placements. Bravo to everyone that is a part of this masterpiece. Execution is flawless. So make sure to show your support by streaming the Back Talk EP everywhere via Partica Artist Group!

Krilla has consistently proven that his remixing abilities are on point, taking a stab at classics such as Porter Robinson’s ‘Divinity’, Liquid Stranger and Space Jesus’ ‘Space Boss’ and more recently, Zeds Dead’s ‘Collapse‘. Adding a unique flair to mid-tempo, the Toronto-based producer’s style caught the eyes of many in 2018, and Krilla is now looking to become a household name in 2019.

Continuing his hot streak of classic remixes, Krilla’s new challenge comes in the form of Skrillex and Damian Marley’s ‘Make It Bun Dem’. An eerie soundscape kicks off the track, before Damian Marley’s distinct vocals jump in with mean bass and rolling hi-hats prominent in the background. Seemingly using of none of the original instrumentals in the introduction, it’s only when the drop hits that Krilla unveils his true production mastery. Coupled with a gnarly bass, the talented producer makes use of the reggae-inspired sounds and the unmistakable synths to create a genre-defying trip. Blurring the lines between trap, bass house and mid-tempo, Krilla’s take on ‘Make It Bun Dem’ is a bass journey that only continues to get wonkier and livelier as the track progresses.

With a collaboration with TYNAN on the horizon and who knows what else, we strongly recommend you keep an eye on Krilla. Check out his ‘Make It Bun Dem’ remix below!

Toronto-based producer Krilla has been on an absolute tear this year, quickly carving his own lane in the bass scene with his heavy-hitting originals and bangin’ remixes. In a community where mid-tempo is becoming saturated with more of the same, Krilla often adds a unique touch of trap, electro or dubstep in his works to help them stand out among the rest. Hot off an eclectic remix for Liquid Stranger and Space Jesus, the versatile producer is back with a rework of a classic to cap off his phenomenal year. Tackling Zeds Dead’s hit ‘Collapse’, Krilla stays true to the original essence of the track with Jenna Pemkowski’s cloudy vocals and the catchy piano melody, but adds a unique twist to turn it into a bass banger. Futuristic plucks and wonky synths dominate the drop, and they’re accentuated with punchy fills and a creative manipulation of the word “gone”. The second drop is a melodic dubstep twist that will leave you speechless. Check out Krilla’s ‘Collapse’ remix below!
