With a huge amount of success from their first collaboration, Lemay and Blush are back to shake the earth’s core. And this time, they’re unleashing a momentous amount of energy. Their newest single, ‘I Can’t Feel’ is packed full of satisfying characteristics and sounds. Fit to knock any listener off their feet and into the unknown. Along with the release, they even incorporated a brand new visualizer to fit the vibe completely. Make sure to check it out on YouTube. And being the second release off his new label, HAPPY ACCIDENTS, Lemay wanted to recruit Blush once again to make another memorable banger. And they do not disappoint in the slightest.

‘I Can’t Feel’ is a psychedelic portal to a new tomorrow. It opens up a world you never knew existed. Filled with vitality not yet discovered. From a powerful and intense introduction to jaw-dropping drops, there’s no telling what’s next. The sound design factor within is nothing but inspirational and shocking. Leaving an unforgettable feeling after each listen. And hearing both of their styles combine once again is truly exciting. The thick and distorted bass lines, virtual style lead, and haunting vocals come together in a gorgeous fashion. Creating a wild and vast wide space in the spectrum altogether. They both really gave it their all and have proven once again, they’re a force to be reckoned with.

So make sure to go support their art by streaming ‘I Can’t Feel’ everywhere via HAPPY ACCIDENTS. And be on the lookout for more incredible work from both of them this year.

With Hex Cougar starting his own record label, it only seems fitting for the first track to be his own. But he’s not alone. Joining the first release on Alter/Ego is non other than Lemay. Known for his heavy trap elements, Lemay has taken the industry by storm. Releasing on Quality Goods Records, Sable Valley, and more has proven the impact he’s had in the underground scene. Which makes him the perfect collaborator for Hex Cougar. And the dynamic duo make a beautiful impression for the label itself. ‘Aubade’ is the first single from the upcoming Alter/Ego Volume 1 compilation. An album dedicated to the artists and styles we’ll hear throughout the label. It’s set to drop on October 29th. So be on the look out for more details.

This song is a breathe of fresh air in terms of sound design and feel. It contains the gritty and heavy elements we all love within a bass anthem. Both musicians hypnotize our senses with their impactful drums, distorted leads and haunting melodies throughout. You can hear and feel the amount of energy and passion it took to create this piece. And they waste no time in showing us all what they’re made of.

Make sure to support the artists by streaming ‘Aubade’ on Spotify, SoundCloud and more.

The fifteen-minute preview that dropped on August 10th was enough to get everyone and their mother hyped for the unprecedented compilation, as the contributors and track names were finally released to the public, with a teaser of each tickling every listener’s curiosity. FUXWITHIT favourites Cozway, capshun and Colson XL, and Jon Casey make their mark on the impressive collection with three experimental bops sure to remind everyone why they are to be watched closely. Sable Valley roster members Knock2, JAWNS, and the label-head himself (alongside Whethan) contribute in the form of fun yet fierce trap and bass brute primed for your living room dance floors. Additional favourites include Kumarion’s drum and bass belter ‘Enemy,’ MASAYOSHI IIMORI’s innovative future bass piece titled ‘Realm’ and Heimanu’s signature NuRave-leaning ‘Worlds,’ but we highly recommend you listen from front to back and pick for yourself.

A flick through the tune catalogue of New Zealand’s bass/trap creator Ian Munro and it’s hard to not see what an extraordinary talent he has. With projects for the likes of Quality Goods regularly reaching the masses, make sure you don’t overlook wicked remixes for the likes of Mt Eden, UZ and QUIX.

His most recent single ‘Right Now’ ft. Yuneer Gainz can be checked out here, and give his 5 track Floor Fillers selection a listen below.

MEMBA & Mothica – ‘Chasing Light’

The power and emotion in this track gets me every time. It’s not shy of sounding too ‘pop-y’ and it’s not shy of sounding too weird. MEMBA have been killing it recently.

Taska Black – ‘We Would Never Do’ (feat. Nevve)

I’m a big fan of what Taska does – and this track perfectly combines the energy of bass music and the musicality and emotion that it often lacks.

Rich The Kid – ‘Listen Up’ (prod. LMC & Danny Wolf)

Huge shoutout to the homie LMC representing NZ with this placement. Best track off the album in my opinion.

Illenium – ‘Leaving’ (AWAY Remix)

I have a lot of respect for anyone who does things differently. AWAY’s latest releases have been nothing short of impeccable and this remix is no exception.

Lemay – ‘Over Me’ (feat. Maize)

One of the more overlooked songs on his EP – this one is just too weird not to love. The rhythm and the synths shouldn’t work, but they do.

The captivating ‘Looking For You’ sets the scene brilliantly with its oozing melodies and sharp builds, before ‘Over Me’ with Maize throws some vocals in to the mix with fresh creativity. ‘Check’ ft. UK rapper Sparkz is something different again, before Lemay’s collaboration with UZ on ‘Octane’ rounds off the set in suitably powerful style.
