Released on Mad Decent in a time where the label was the center of attention for all things trap, twerk and unclassifiable fun, this short yet mighty tune is an absolute banger in every DJ set it sneaks its way into. Beautifully exemplifying the mantra “less is more”, ‘1,2,3’ succinctly assembles a polished piano riff, unforgettable vocal sample, brilliantly wide 808, and swanky percussion loop into a timeless heater. Dabow continues to usher us into a new age of trap; one that is reminiscent of the sounds we all fell in love with in the early SoundCloud days yet with an imaginative, stimulating twist. Be sure to keep up with the long-time FUXWITHIT favorite as he chefs up (and reposts) some of the hottest new ish around.

Over two years after the first installment and just weeks after earth-shattering remixes from the likes of EPROM and Tsuruda, Project Paradis has returned with a hint of the madness to come. Slated to be unleashed on Mad Decent on March 27th, each of the 6 tracks across the EP are set to incarnate the untamable styles of both Promnite and Mr. Carmack. The project transcends traditional releases through multiple visual accompaniments (courtesy of SHINOSM) such as the mind-bending video for the two teaser tracks released today; ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ (shown below) and ‘Cut 11‘. Exploring psychological bonds between the prisoner and captor, ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ smashes the barriers of physical and digital existence with an astronomical wall of sound.

Stretching texturized, artificial noises across turbulent interpretations of trap, experimental bass, house, grime, and more, Paradis 2 encapsulates the rowdiest ideas from the two madmen into a novel dystopian vision. Among the other disruptive tracks on Paradis 2, the long awaited ‘Bull Run’ is slated to make its massive debut on streaming services. Teased in this Carmack tweet and in countless Reddit threads, the monstrous, elusive track has been wreaking absolute havoc in sets from heavy-hitting DJ for years.

Experience the first two tracks off the project below and pre-order the deluxe two-sided vinyl comprised of both Paradis 1 and Paradis 2 on Mad Decent.

Through six eclectic tracks, the LA-based producer reminded everyone of his innate ability to make anyone dance. Now, these tracks have received a remix treatment from a wide array of house music greats, with each lending their own style to the Valentino Khan originals.

CONFESSION label-head Tchami first graced our ears a couple of weeks back with his upbeat, groovy take on ‘JustYourSoul,’ before genre-defiant Eliminate flexed a fast-paced bass house twist to the tech-leaning ‘Pony.’ The collection of remixes is rounded out by Drezo, Born Dirty, Schade and Ibranovski – all names that are sure to make any house-lover jump with joy. With the former adding his signature dark touch to ‘Flip The Switch’ to the latter taking ‘Better’ to the depths of the jungle, the ensemble of remixes are as well-rounded as house music gets.

Valentino Khan‘s diverse take on house music is what sets him apart from most in the game. From club banger to summer bop, the talented artist has the Midas touch when it comes to making a four-on-the-floor beat that’s catchy for all. Today, he joins forces with Mad Decent label boss Diplo in a clash of two titans to deliver a new single from his upcoming House Party EP titled ‘JustYourSoul.’

Diplo has also been leaning towards house in his latest releases, so the joining of these two forces comes as no big surprise. In ‘JustYourSoul,’ the two explore a funky new take on house music through its melodic grooves, quintessential punchy beat, and dancefloor-friendly vocals. Although never really peaking in energy, ‘JustYourSoul’ also never lets up on the groove, creating a summer-ready vibe that holds straight until the very end. This one is a crowd-pleaser and will be a hit on the dance floor from the club to the festival stage. Don’t miss it below!

Valentino Khan is no stranger to making bangers. The LA-based producer has an innate knack for making festival and dance floor-ready hits, with recent releases such as ‘Novocaine‘ alongside Kayzo and official remixes for RL Grime and Alison Wonderland serving as perfect examples. Despite boasting a strong house influence in every one of his tracks, fans never really know what to expect from the hit-making genius as he ceaselessly pushes his production boundaries to new limits.

Today, Valentino Khan returns with the eclectic ‘Pony,’ the first single from his upcoming EP on Mad Decent. This time deciding to delve into bass house with a tech touch, the talented artist has surely created a club mainstay with his latest. A brief introduction highlighted by crisp percussion leads listeners into a steady three minutes of banging basslines and eccentric beats. Staying true to the essence house, Valentino Khan adds his signature flair in four distinctly catchy sections, while tying them together with the peculiar sound of galloping horse. Check it out below.

Out now on Mad Decent, Whipped Cream’s latest is sure to leave you in awe of her musical genius.

‘Time’ is different from Whipped Cream’s earlier work. Utilizing DeathByRomy’s soothing vocals, the Canadian producer opts to introduce the track in a calm, serene essence, highlighting the vocalists strengths. However, a dark undertone makes itself heard throughout, which Whipped Cream exploits at the fifty-second mark to build to an apex of tension. A brief pause launches ‘Time’ into an emotional bass drop that blurs the lines between melodic dubstep and midtempo, this time accentuating the talented artist’s ability to think outside the box with flawless production. Although not her heaviest track to date, Whipped Cream still manages to induce goosebumps in any listener through the pristine combination of poignant vocals, raw emotion and sinister bass. Don’t miss ‘Time’ below and catch the music video here.

When word came out of a Valentino Khan and Kayzo collaboration, electronic music fans quickly began speculating about what such an intriguing combination of sounds would resemble. After all, it was difficult to imagine exactly how the infectious Valentino Khan sound and the hard bass of Kayzo would come together. Bass music fans are in for a treat with their newest track titled ‘Novocaine,’ as it is an eclectic medley of loud synths and banging percussion, blurring the lines between and dance floor shaker and a headbang heater.

‘Novocaine’ should come with a warning label, as it is not for the faint of heart (or hearing). Prepare for an assault to the senses from the start of the track, which begins with intense hardstyle-influenced percussion. Valentino Khan and Kayzo use this as a warm up to deliver jarring, distorted synths and a heavy dose of bass, melding elements of trap and drum & bass to make ‘Novocaine’ a hybrid of modern bass music.

The track, which is out on Diplo’s Mad Decent record label, follows a huge announcement from Valentino Khan: he will be playing his biggest live show to date at the Hollywood Palladium on March 9th, joining the ranks of legendary artists who have graced the iconic venue’s decks before him.

Have you heard? Mad Decent has released a remix EP of Herobust’s I’m Aloud . With some of trap and bass’s most pioneering and freshest artists, this venture continues on Herobust‘s promised pivot into the no-man’s-land of electronic music’s misty, shadowed experimental-zone. Along with his VIP mix, Barely Alive, Spag Heddy, Wuki, and Da-bow stitch together hip-hop-esque vocals and deep electric wubbs to create a velutinous little creature that is ready to thrash and bang.

The variety and depth of mixing skills is evident as they each bring together many different classic dub-step sounds and hip-hop elements. Barely Alive’s remix of ‘Dirty Work’ is a more cerebral apparatus than Herobust’s banging VIP of ‘Skurt Reynolds’, and Da-bow’s rework of ‘Weigh Home’ is reminiscent of a husky R&B tune dropped into a bass-bath.

There is a little something for every one here. It is worth a close listen in order to appreciate the leaps Herobust is making with his new projects, and Mad Decent’s ability to bring stellar experimental artist together for us to enjoy in one sitting.
