Tremendous trios triumphantly tickling ear canals with titillating psychedelic beats are a true rarity in the world of bass music nowadays. But, when music addicts are graced with a prime showcase of what is possible when something like this occurs, it is sure to make swift waves throughout the culture. Today, fans will be gleeful to hear that they’ve been blessed with a fresh auditory Frankenstein from some of the brightest young minds in the experimental realms, still with a lingering “fresh out of the spaceship” smell. We’ve had the great pleasure of premiering the first collaboration from MeSo, CVPTVGON, and Jonnie Boi, ‘Visitation’, released through the immaculate cultivators of only the creamiest material, Wormhole Music Group.

‘Visitation’ is an extraterrestrial mental abduction device, firmly convincing all caught within its frequencies to exhibit only the most groovy of dance moves. If humanity sent this track out into outer space as their first contact with alien life, ET would think twice about showing any signs of aggression towards this intergalactic doom cannon. Equal parts heavy and pleasantly weird, listeners will be left with grimy grimaces on their faces and absolutely no clue what to do with their hands. Each artist’s productions are readily apparent throughout the piece, feeling like a true representation of all three without any being overbearing.

Feeling like the NFL combine of bass music collaborations, ‘Visitation’ is sure to be a #1 pick for fans looking to bump only the freshest of productions. With enormous years all around for each of these artists, and immense amounts of hype leading into 2020, listeners will be left wondering what else these three could possibly pump out in the final month of this year. For now though, check out ‘Visitation’ for yourself below!

After being teased for over a year, Chicago-based MeSo and Grand Rapids native Super Future follow up their previous collab ‘Like Dis’ with another groundbreaking release ‘Chromatose’.

There’s no denying freeform bass’ overwhelming growth and popularity in the past year – a sound so many have dabbled with, yet Kevin Lee and Nick Rowland have continually found a way to push the envelope of experimentation and originality. ‘Chromatose’ is a kaleidoscope of weird metallic arpeggios perfectly layered with crisp percussion and a deep sub bass. The track encapsulates breathtaking depth for the producers, exploring halftime midtempo with freeform swagger. The chromatic sound and feel is a staple in Super Future’s brand, which can also be heard in his previous track ‘Lay It Back’ with Viskus released back in April.

Neither MeSo nor Super Future shows signs of slowing down. Before we even have time to gather ourselves from previous releases, there is already some new heat from these two. Be sure to catch MeSo at the Spicy Bois Wakaan Fest takeover on the Jaenga Bus and Super Future at Michigan’s Breakaway Music Festival this fall. Stream their new track below!

As of late, Meso and the rest of the Spicybois ferocious lineup of artists have been on a war path of sonic destruction. Coming fresh off the heels of the announcement of their takeover at the inaugural Wakaan Festival at Mulberry Mountain Arkansas, now just this past weekend they had one of their tracks played out by the legendary Canadian duo Zeds Dead. Today, Meso and Connecticut’s own Zachary Camner, or Camnah, have tag-teamed a wub-fueled monstrosity titled ‘Jroc’.

If Alice in Wonderland needed a musical face lift, ‘Jroc’ would absolutely be the theme song. It’s one part wiggle-inducing alien sounds, and 2 parts hilarious Trailer Park Boys reference, as the name and vocal samples come from a popular character on the show. Listening to this song on repeat for extended periods of time will induce a light coma coupled with rolled back eyes and an elegant pile of drool as the listener’s consciousness is whisked away on an interstellar vacation through sound and space. Pull up to the loading dock of your mental spaceship with this cued in your playlist and prepare for the wild ride you’re about to embark on.

Check out ‘Jroc’ in all its glory for yourself below!
