Need something to hype you up? Then look no further because the L*o*J boys have you covered with their new single ‘Brink’ out now on Music High Court (MHC). It’s been quite the year for the dynamic duo in terms of releases. Making a true and honorable name for themselves. And now they’re back with a track to compliment their progress and victories. So strap in your seatbelts laddies and gentlemen, because this is going to be a wild ride.

‘Brink’ is a fun and everlasting feeling of excitement and inspiration. These guys never cease to amaze their audience with memorable rhythms and sound design. From the cover art alone, we’re able to get a feeling on where this could go. Starting out with a catchy hip-hop beat, we can hear the main lead in the back. Getting us ready for what’s to come.

With the breakdown getting faster and faster, it leaves the listener in a hypnotized daze. Falling right into their grasp in terms of attention and curiosity. Then all of a sudden, it comes together in a big and monumental state. Knocking you into the future. The chorus contains a thick bass lead and heavy drums to compliment the track as a whole. It’ll have you bobbing your head back and forth being immersed within their creativity. If there’s a quick pause of drums, they’ll easily fill the space with some wonky samples. Keeping the energy flowing.

When you thought it was over, they immediately drift right back into your head for round two. This time, we hear a similar style lead as in the first, but more filtered. Creating a new kind of space to go crazy to. Leaving us with a wide and open atmosphere. Making us want more.

L*o*J are a powerhouse duo. They truly take their time in producing fun filled pieces and ‘Brink’ is definitely one of their most memorable creations yet. Make sure to show the love by streaming the single.

GURF should be one of the first names out of your mouth if you say the words, “Trap 2” (Say it in the mirror 3 times and maybe he’ll appear). The Maryland based, Partica Artist Group Co-Founder has been delivering his unique style of wonky, experimental trap music, that Twitter has deemed Trap 2, and has shown no signs of slowing down. Today, GURF is back, this time with a release on Music High Court, and it’s giving us serious ‘Jitter’s.

‘Jitter’ begins with a dark melody and GURF wastes no time adding thunderous drums to give the track a thick spine. Before you can prepare yourself, GURF launches an all out assault on your speakers, twisting textures and leaving us on the floor. While reflecting on the track, GURF stated, “I’m a drummer so I think of these things rhythmically, I quite often beat-box and solidify a rhythm of the fill first, and THEN experiment with what textures sound good”. This is clear as day in GURF’s productions, where he’s got so many layers of wubs, wobbles, and weird, atonal percussion hits, all swirling together under enormous trap drums. The flow on the second drop of ‘Jitter’ is absolutely next level wonkyness, with thick wubs, and short vocal sounding chops, it’s enough to make you debate taking your computer to a doctor.

GURF has once again done it with ‘Jitters’, check it out below. Out now on Music High Court.

As an artist that has mastered genres ranging from trap to drum & bass, it’s hard to not be a fan of Rohaan. Bleach, released last month, was the Machester-based artist’s undeniable stamp as one of the most promising names in the high-BPM genre, having already left his mark on other genres with his impressive and extensive discography. Returning to his days of making wonky heaters, Rohaan is back today with the release of ‘Fore‘ via Music High Court, and this one is sure to be a FUXWITHIT fan-favourite.

Intriguingly meshing his recent drum & bass inklings into a 90 BPM bass-rattler, Rohaan demonstrates his ability to ceaselessly innovate in ‘Fore.’ The introduction is minimal yet ominous, piquing one’s curiosity as layers of effects and sounds are added gradually. Wasting no time, the track quickly becomes weird and wonky in the best way possible, staying true to the stark theme of the opening without omitting a heavy beat and crisp flow. Using the midsection to further the supernatural tension introduced in the first half of the track, Rohaan then ups the ruggedness and wobbly nature of the track in the second drop, again showcasing his natural production prowess. Don’t miss ‘Fore’ below.

In the bass music community, the general trend for an artist is they’ll only have a few successful releases in a given year. Holly has been a consistent enigma in this regard, having several hundred confirmed releases already, and many many more that even haven’t had the right time to come out, or may never actually see the light of day. A veritable steam engine that just keeps on pushing on, this man doesn’t slow down for anything, with his pace seeming to even pick-up even further as of late. Within the last three months, he’s released his Alameda 1000 EP, a collab with Zeds Dead titled ‘Asteroid‘, a collaborative EP with Machinedrum titled Berry Batch, and a collab with Slushii titled ‘All Night Long.’ Now, he assaults the airwaves once again with his never-ending campaign of production prominence with ‘Evil Eye,’ a relentless bass-filled banger out on Music High Court, and we’ve had the pleasure of premiering it right here on FUXWITHIT.

With a name like ‘Evil Eye’, you already know it’s going to be as diabolical as possible. In true Holly form, he didn’t disappoint, as you can almost hear his maniacal laughter in the background as the grime washes over your body. Evoking vibes that float freely between mad scientist and necromancer, listeners will be left wildly wiggling to their heart’s desire, while also feeling at their max wicked capabilities. Putting the experimental rightly in experimental trap, ‘Evil Eye’ incorporates a lot of elements from bass music that aren’t associated with traditional trap stylings, giving this track even more attitude and individuality. But those two elements, attitude and individuality, seem to be at the forefront of everything Holly stands for, and are assuredly exemplified throughout the entirety of his discography, and even more so in this most recent example. Check out ‘Evil Eye’ for yourself below!

Jon Casey is the product of undeniable motivation and raw talent. Last year was a monstrous period for the South African native as he unleashed a plethora of versatile heaters, leading the way for the trap renaissance that is imminent. Despite his most impressive body of work, the Flora & Fauna LP, coming in late November, Jon Casey has not slowed down his output, recently releasing ‘The Bounce‘ all while making his way around North America. Riding this momentum, the talented producer is back with another bop titled ‘Rezonate’ that embodies the sound that the creative mastermind has developed over the years.

‘Rezonate’ is a slow-builder, captivating your intrigue through ominous effects as looming percussion is gradually added to create more tension. As the fifty-second mark hits, the track takes a turn toward the gritty as Jon Casey curates a menacing section that blurs the lines between trap and experimental bass music. Retaining an underlying Jon Casey groove while simultaneously boasting a rugged feel, ‘Rezonate’ gets better with every listen. Don’t miss it below. Out now on Music High Court.

Working with friends in the music industry can sometimes be a tumultuous journey. After first hearing DAD on Joshua Francois’ ‘Blue Suitcase‘ earlier last year, Lucchii instantly fell in love with his infectious vocals and immediately sent him a message praising his sound and potential. Since becoming acquainted, the two have become great friends, with Lucchii stating “I felt if we got the right project going it could be an awesome, unique result.”

The difference in styles between the two artists was not evident to overcome, though. “As I said before, I was going into writing a song for Mike (DAD) kind of nervous just because his voice has a pop-ish kind of sound that I never really worked with before. Most of my stuff being fairly dark, I went into it as open as possible and just let the ideas flow,” Lucchii continues. “About a week later, I had a pretty awesome idea going and shot it Mike’s way. He loved it. Upon finishing the magic on his end, he let me know that he had to transpose the song up around 4 semitones due to his voice not being able to hit that low of a register. Unfortunately, with drops written and most of the instrumental already mixed, it was a nearly impossible change for me to make on my end. I assured him in his nervousness that we would not waste the amazing performance he delivered. I ended up starting new and writing around his vocals and behold, ‘Chøsen Ønes,’” Lucchii’s latest that we are ecstatic to premiere today, out now on Music High Court.

Continuing to build on his newfound sound, the Las Vegas-based producer keeps his momentum from ‘Legacy‘ and ‘Løst‘ alive with ‘Chøsen Ønes.’ The experienced sound designer pushed his boundaries to new limits with this track, wrapping DAD’s poignant lyrics in an ethereal soundscape so versatile that the direction of the impending drop is unknown until it hits. When it does, listeners are thrown into limbo, with dark synths and undertones contrasted by the upbeat vocal chops and punchy percussion.

With Lucchii promising ‘Chøsen Ønes’ to be only the tip of the iceberg, we’re stoked to hear what’s next from the talented producer. Until then, don’t miss his latest below and grab it here!

An unanticipated collision of styles, ‘Cross Faded’ is a picturesque exemplification of the creative diversity and the steadfast appetite for innovation of aspiring producers NXSTY & Loca. The track itself beckons the necessity of genres, released via the tastemaker label, Music High Court, which is positioned to divert attention from mainstream antics towards the thriving underground music scene, living by the principle that justice is blind, not deaf.

‘Cross Faded’ opens with a mosaic introduction lined expertly with warm, gently pulsing synths and subtle whimsical chimes springs crisply into upbeat accordance of percussion, growing steadily as shooting energy heaves the track into a turbulent drop of high-pitch squeals and reverberating subs. As the insatiable melody rejoinders, the track makes a majestic pivot, elevating into an uplifting cascade of graceful wavering synths, tantalizing vocal cuts, and profound gasps.

Nimbly transcending the perceived division between genres, NXSTY & Loca’s latest single stands tribute to the untapped diversity of collaboration and stands as a shining example of the complexity that can be unraveled within a single track.
